No, those laws do not forbid me to lie to you. They dont cover every act of lying, only certain acts. We already established that there is no law in america against me lying to you. I can legally lie to you under mans law.

So who do you say we should follow, mans law that allows lying or Gods law that forbids it?

I understand you don't like my answers.

    1. Grace is a give, not a bribe.
    2. Grace is given with the law written in the heart not on paper or stone.
    3. We are bound by the written law and released by grace from the obsolete law.

No anymore. Sin is now decided in the heart. The law is obsolete.

    Hebrews 8
13 By speaking of a new covenant, He has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.

    Luke 22:20
In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.

    2 Corinthians 3:6
And He has qualified us as ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

    2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!

    Hebrews 7:22
Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.

    Hebrews 8:6
Now, however, Jesus has received a much more excellent ministry, just as the covenant He mediates is better and is founded on better promises.

    Hebrews 8:8
But God found fault with the people and said: "Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

    Hebrews 9:15
Therefore Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, now that He has died to redeem them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

    Hebrews 12:24
to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

You misunderstand. Writing the law on the heart doesn't mean that God doesn't first give written commands. It means that we obey what God wrote in scripture, in the heart, not just outwardly.

I accept both your analysis and your personal morality. You may always do what is right or not if that is your choice.

Can you please answer this question? So who do you say we should follow, mans law that allows lying or Gods law that forbids it?

You aRE TRYING TO CONTROL THE THOUGHTS OF OTHERS BY MANIPULATING YOUR QUESTONS. Just for your Information.

As I said. God's written law is obsolete and he provided the Jews as a living example of it's failings. We follow God's law written in our heart by the Holy Spirit.

Man's law includes and guides what man writes down as law.

Personal morality, such and when to lie or not, is in mans heart.
Never follow God's obsolete written laws. If you break just one, you are guilty of breaking them all.

    1. Believe in Yahweh as the Only Source of Power in the Universe. (Exodus 20:2)
    2. Submit to Yahweh as the Supreme Head, to be in unity with Yahweh. (Deuteronomy 6:4)
    3. Love Yahweh with all your heart, soul, and might. (Deuteronomy 6:5)
    4. Reverence Yahweh by Keeping His Laws. (Deuteronomy 6:12-13, 25)
    5. Serve Yahweh. (Exodus 23:25)
    6. Hold fast to Yahweh. (Deuteronomy 10:20)
    7. Taking an oath by Yahweh's Name. (Deuteronomy 6:13)
    8. Walk in Yahweh's ways. (Deuteronomy 28:9)
    9. Sanctify Yahweh's Name. (Leviticus 22:32)
    10. Read (study and meditate on) the Book of the Law. (Deuteronomy 6:7)
    11. Teach the Book of the Law to our children. (Deuteronomy 6:7)
    12. Bind the Law upon our hands. (Deuteronomy 6:8)
    13. Bind (write) the Law upon our minds. (Deuteronomy 6:8)
    14. Make tzitzit on the corners of the tallits. (Numbers 15:38-40)
    15. Preach and publish Yahweh's Law. (Deuteronomy 6:9)
    16. Gather for the reading of the Law every seventh year. (Deuteronomy 31:10-13)
    17. A king must acquire and apply the Book of the Law. (Deuteronomy 17:18-20)
    18. Acquire the Book of the Law. (Deuteronomy 31:19)
    19. Be thankful to Yahweh in prayer, praise, and deed. (Deuteronomy 8:10)

Because the Law is judgment for one's works. If you place yourself under the Law, you must obey it to be worthy of heaven. This is the Tower of Babel where the people worked to build a tower to heaven and not what God wants. God wants man to rely on the works of Jesus. Through Grace, it becomes a gift.
God's love is expressed through Grace. Beyond any doubt, the Law is holy but through the Law comes judgment. If one can obey all of the Law, one becomes worthy. This is what God meant when he told Cain,
    6. Then the LORD said to Cain: Why are you angry? Why are you dejected? 7. If you act rightly, you will be accepted; but if not, sin lies in wait at the door: its urge is for you, yet you can rule over it.

Which do you want to be? Cain or Abel? The works of the ground is works of man. In Greek, the word adam means- the red earth. Works of the earth, man, are the sacrifice which Cain offered to God but Abel's was a shepherd and offered the fat of the first born which is Jesus, the lamb of God.

    God Bless

If you beak even one commandment, you are guilty of breaking all of them.
So the new covenant is to act rightly by what is in your heart.
But the heart is deceitful, and still you will sin.
    Perfection only comes through Grace.

Through God's grace and the work of the Holy Spirit your question will one day be answered. I am not able to explain to you as the two represent different things. One is bondage (law) the other is freedom(Grace). For now I give you some scripture to meditate on.

    John 1
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ”
16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

That is correct and why we are not to bind ourselves to the Law.
The new covenant is to love. If we love, we have fulfilled the law, so why bind oneself to the Law.
Yes, and Grace comes through faith. Abraham received Grace because he believed. There was no Law for Abraham. He just followed God's Spirit. The same goes for Christians. We receive Grace through baptism. We are born into Eden, God's rest. or righteousness.

By the working of the Holy Spirit to convict of sins, and to open up minds and hearts when the Gospel is preached, as we preach the Gospel, not the law!
