Nobody has ever had to change their convicted opinion that race-mixing or gay marriage is wicked. They just don't get to prevent race-mixing or gay marriage.

Why not they are our (Christian) churches? And the rules are based on what we believe are the word of God based on our scripture,so we should exclude gay marriage in our churches if God wants it that way and treat it for what it is-sin.

Sorry man but a homosexual Atheist has got no place to tell Christians how to run their church.

Any activity or literature or pro-gay agendas is a violation of rightness. And there's plenty of that out there. A person can be gay and private and I say nothing, but if they can have a public agenda, so can I. If they can push their rightness, so can I. They have no authority besides their own brass bands. And generally I don't communicate here with atheists. They can speak and a donkey can bray, but I don't need to respond to either.

Said me. Please be aware I do not self-identify as a fascist homosexual.

Sorry man but a homosexual Atheist has got no place to tell Christians how to run their church.

Why do people think you're homosexual? You don't have to be gay to support gay rights. As one of my favorite actors said, "You don't have to be gay to be a supporter. You just have to be human."

Canada’s top court has ruled in favour of denying accreditation to a Christian law school that banned students from having gay sex.

Friday’s ruling against Trinity Western University in British Columbia (BC) was closely watched by both religious freedom and gay rights advocates.

The university made students promise not to have extra-marital or gay sex.

The Supreme Court found that protecting LGBT students from discrimination trumped religious freedom.

It's a law school. They're gonna have to learn how to screw people one way or another.

(I'd like the record to show that I managed to come up with a PG version of this joke)

Obviously you don't have to be gay to be an advocate for that stuff but generally people talk about what is of personal interest to them. In this case we have an atheist on a christian forum, self described in a ''legal union'' which is a fair chance of homosexual couple. Not rocket science to work these little things out.

Even if he's not gay atheists still got no business meddling with the church.

This straight Christian agrees with them.

Probably because their marital status is "Legal Union (Other)" which on this site is code for "Married to same gender partner"

I never paid any attention to his status. It's none of my concern what his marital status is. And this particular area is open to non-Christians. There are a Christian-Only forums on the site too.

Like I said, I wasn't paying attention to his marital status. I don't normally look at stats when I post.

Since most estimates put the numbers of gays at 10% or less of the population, I think the extramarital sex prohibition would have the much greater impact.

So why is this only about the gay side of it?

That's right, the world is so screwed up with promiscuity, polygamy and other degeneracy why bother to try and implement any king of damage limitation policy.

Just go with the flow.

I'm sorry. This thread is about a college, not a church. No one is trying to force a college to perform same sex marriages.

Sorry man but a homosexual Atheist has got no place to tell Christians how to run their church.

Nobody's telling anyone how to run their church.

I'm not sure you understand what a conviction is. If those two people over there are allowed to do something you don't like, it has not changed your conviction that it is wrong.

Except for the LGBTG community apparently...
They can force their convictions on anybody..

Well, they don't seem to have forced their convictions on you, or me or anyone else that I know.
