No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. I would agree, but it's irrelevant. Israel was/is a nation, not a body of believers like the Church. It's always had a believing remnant, but it's always had its share of unbelievers. Just look the the wilderness generation!

Israel's existence has always accompanied unbelief. The beauty of the Daniel and Revelation prophecies is the coming conversion of the entire nation at the end of the age.

Rom. 11:26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;

Yep, cleansing the NATION Israel of their rebels is described in the following...

Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Note verse 13:41's "they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;"

That kingdom is said to be polluted, and yet it is referred to as His kingdom.

Because that kingdom has a coming restoring again...

Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time RESTORE AGAIN restore the kingdom TO ISRAEL? 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come IN LIKE MANNER as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Rom. 5:6-8
I just hope I ain't part of the burial detail in Israel......
Btw, is it shown anywhere how long the cleanup of Jerusalem took after the 70ad destruction of Jerusalem? Just curious....

REBELS

Daniel 8:23
“In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked, a fierce-looking king, a master of intrigue, will arise.
Hosea 5:2
Rebels are deeply involved in slaughter;
I will be a punishment for all of them.[fn]

Ezekiel 39:12 And the house of Israel have buried them — in order to cleanse the landseven months.

2 Peter 3:12
looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
Revelation 16:14
For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and[fn] of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

2 Thessalonians 1:10
when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His Saints
and to be admired among all those who believe,[fn] because our testimony among you was believed.

Ezekiel 39:
7 And My holy name I make known in the midst of My people Israel, And I pollute not My holy name any more, And known have the nations that I, Jehovah, the Holy One, [am] in Israel. 8 Lo, it hath come, and it hath been done, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, It [is] the day of which I spake.

9 And gone out have the inhabitants of cities of Israel,
And they have burned and kindled [a fire], With armour, and shield, and buckler, With bow, and with arrows, And with hand-staves, and with javelins, And they have caused a fire to burn with them seven years, 10 And they do not take wood out of the field, Nor do they hew out of the forests, For with armour they cause the fire to burn, And they have spoiled their spoilers, And they have plundered their plunderers, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
12 And the house of Israel have buried themin order to cleanse the land seven months. 13 Yea, all the people of the land have buried them, and it hath been to them for a name — the day of My being honoured — an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah

Not to worry, if you have believed in the following, you won't be here during the above.

Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Rom. 11:26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:

When you say "the entire nation" will be saved, do you mean every person within a certain geographic location, or do you mean every person who has any of Jacob's DNA, or do you mean all modern Orthodox Jews?

Are you ignoring what Paul said in Romans 9:6-8, and Romans 9:27, and Romans 11:1-5?
How do you change the word "remnant" into "all"?

Do you think Paul changed his mind in Romans 11:26?

Paul uses the Olive Tree as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of both believing Israelite, and believing Gentile branches in Romans 11.

You also seem to be changing the word "so", which is an adverb of manner, into the word "then", which is an adverb of timing in Romans 11:16.

The manner of their salvation is by being grafted back into the Olive Tree through faith in Christ, as described below in verse 23.
Therefore, verse 26 is connected to verse 23.

Rom 11:23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
Rom 11:25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "THE DELIVERER WILL COME OUT OF ZION, AND HE WILL TURN AWAY UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB;
Rom 11:27 FOR THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."

The Uppercase text in the NKJV shows the fulfillment of the Old Testament text.
The "Deliverer" came out of Zion about 2,000 years ago.

Christ fulfilled the New Covenant in His blood at Calvary.

The text above is not about a future covenant with the modern State of Israel.

You seem to be promoting John Nelson Darby's Two Peoples of God doctrine that was brought to America about the time of the Civil War, and later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible.

I don't really know exactly how God works it out. If you believe Elizabeth is Native American, perhaps you'd believed it's by any trace of DNA. I doubt it though. I can't say I know for certain, but Scripture seems to be saying is that those Jews who were gathered back to Israel and survived the Tribulation period (not taking the mark), were all saved and ushered into, or preserved into Christ's millennial kingdom. Thus all of Israel was saved. I would surmise that's the correct way to think about, but am open to others ideas.

Here's how:

Romans 2
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

A Jew who is not an inward Jew is not a Jew at all.

But the inward Jew is identified by spiritual DNA with the traits described above.

No, see this is the Church. The Church are a believing body comprised of jews and gentiles (in other words all people.). It is not a nation, like Israel was a nation. It's a a body, divided into smaller groups who reside in other nations and adapt to the laws of the nations (Romans 13). Israel was a nation in and of itself, with national laws, a national army, etc. You're conflating the two concepts.

Also, the book of Revelation is describing outward and inward Jews who survived the Tribulation, did not take the mark, and were gathered back to their nation. They were inward and outward jews. So, your argument doesn't really refute anything I said.

By what criteria other than Romans 2:28-29 does God recognize true Jews?

Well, Old Testament history is the backdrop of Paul's understanding. You're trying to erase it from existence, but it was never erased from Paul's mind. God, in the beginning, created a very good world. Adam sinned and his descendants were separated from God and Paradise and the Tree of Life. God then prophesied a redeemer to come (Gen. 3:15). After the flood, God divided the world into nations by created multiple languages, then raised up Abraham to father a special Nation of God's specific design. These descendants whom God would bless would be reckoned through Isaac and Jacob, and Jacob's 12 sons. They would form the nation of Israel which would be birthed out of Egypt. Messiah would come through this nation.

We have great imagery of this in the book of Revelation, of the woman, giving birth to the Messiah, then retreating from the dragon who sought to kill her. We also see God protecting the woman (Israel), after she gave birth to the Messiah, in the last days, and causing the armies of Satan to fail in their attempt to kill her.

We can't ignore this history. Paul didn't. Yes, a Jew is both inward and outward. They are referred to as the remnant, and at the end of the age, all of Israel will be saved. That's what both Paul and John believed.

Two Israels.

Romans 9
6
Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Of Israel:
Not all Israel
The children of the flesh
Not the children of God
Not the children of the promise
Not counted for the seed

All Israel:
Not the children of the flesh
The children of God
The children of the promise
Counted for the seed

Romans 11
26
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Only one Israel shall be saved.

All Israel.

The faithful obedient elect beloved foreknown remnant of Romans 11.

This is all addressed in my posts. There are not two Israels there is the Church (believing Jews and Gentiles) and the nation of Israel (believing remnant, and unbelievers). That's what Paul and John believed.

No verses you list are incompatible with that.

And just out of curiosity, do you believe the woman giving birth in Revelation is the Church?

Then why did Paul still consider himself an "Israelite" after his conversion, in the verse below?

Rom 11:1 I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Rom 11:2 God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,
Rom 11:3 "LORD, THEY HAVE KILLED YOUR PROPHETS AND TORN DOWN YOUR ALTARS, AND I ALONE AM LEFT, AND THEY SEEK MY LIFE"?
Rom 11:4 But what does the divine response say to him? "I HAVE RESERVED FOR MYSELF SEVEN THOUSAND MEN WHO HAVE NOT BOWED THE KNEE TO BAAL."
Rom 11:5 Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Why did James address his letter to "the twelve tribes", who were his "brethren" in "faith"?

Jas 1:1 James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: Greetings.
Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
Jas 1:3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

Simple, because he was. Messianic jews are still Israelites. One can be a believing Christian and Israelite at the same time. Super easy question. Next?

By the way, a question for you (or anyone). Paul is said to have preached in the Synagogs to the Jews and also the "God-fearing gentiles."

By your line of reasoning there should be no such distinction. A God-fearing gentile should just be considered Jew, an Israelite. Therefore, Luke should have just called them all Jews. Had you written this account, you surely would have. Why didn't he? Why did he see a distinction? (and Luke was a gentile)

Acts 13:26 “Fellow children of Abraham and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.

Acts 17:4 Some of the Jews were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, as did a large number of God-fearing Greeks and quite a few prominent women.

Acts 17:17 So he reasoned in the synagogue with both Jews and God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there.

The Bible does not contain even one prophecy about an end to=me return of the Jews to their land. But since ancient times, students of Bible prophecy have always known that they would return. For the end time scenario in the Bible opens with them in the land, but there in a state of rebellion and unbelief, which is exactly their present state. In Zechariah 13 we are explicitly told that two-thirds of all of them in the land will be killed, and that the other third will be saved. We are also told, in Isaiah 66, that after Messiah comes the rest of Israel will be brought back to the land. But Ezekiel 20 explicitly tells us that as they return, God will purge the rebels from their midst. And numerous scriptures tell us that the rest of them will be converted and come to a true faith.

And both Ezekiel 20:40 and Ezekiel 36:10 explicitly state that "all the house of Israel, all of it" will at that time be back in the land.

The scriptures are more powerful that all the reasonings of mere mortals.

Ezekiel 39:28
28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

May 14, 1948, was fulfillment of Isaiah 66:7-8, a nation born in a day. Jews returning to the land of Israel in large numbers for that to happen. And continues. But it is not the complete return of all the Jews, yet.

That will not happen until Jesus returns.

Was the nation of Israel in captivity and then returned to the land after Ezekiel 39:28 was written, about 571 BC?

The Book of Daniel was written about 537 BC.

Isaiah 66 is a very complex passage, which should not be selectively quoted.

Isa 66:1 Thus says the LORD: "Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest?

Isa 66:2 For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist," Says the LORD. "But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.
Isa 66:3 "He who kills a bull is as if he slays a man; He who sacrifices a lamb, as if he breaks a dog's neck; He who offers a grain offering, as if he offers swine's blood; He who burns incense, as if he blesses an idol. Just as they have chosen their own ways, And their soul delights in their abominations, (Do you think God wants renewed animal sacrifices, in a rebuilt temple?)
Isa 66:4 So will I choose their delusions, And bring their fears on them; Because, when I called, no one answered, When I spoke they did not hear; But they did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight."

Isa 66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, You who tremble at His word: "Your brethren who hated you, Who cast you out for My name's sake, said, 'Let the LORD be glorified, That we may see your joy.' But they shall be ashamed."
Isa 66:6 The sound of noise from the city! A voice from the temple! The voice of the LORD, Who fully repays His enemies!
Isa 66:7 "Before she was in labor, she gave birth; Before her pain came, She delivered a male child.
Isa 66:8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children.
Isa 66:9 Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?" says the LORD. "Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?" says your God.
Isa 66:10 "Rejoice with Jerusalem, And be glad with her, all you who love her; Rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn for her;
Isa 66:11 That you may feed and be satisfied With the consolation of her bosom, That you may drink deeply and be delighted With the abundance of her glory."
Isa 66:12 For thus says the LORD: "Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, And the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. Then you shall feed; On her sides shall you be carried, And be dandled on her knees.
Isa 66:13 As one whom his mother comforts, So I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem."
Isa 66:14 When you see this, your heart shall rejoice, And your bones shall flourish like grass; The hand of the LORD shall be known to His servants, And His indignation to His enemies.
Isa 66:15 For behold, the LORD will come with fire And with His chariots, like a whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire.
Isa 66:16 For by fire and by His sword The LORD will judge all flesh; And the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Isa 66:17 "Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves, To go to the gardens After an idol in the midst, Eating swine's flesh and the abomination and the mouse, Shall be consumed together," says the LORD.
Isa 66:18 "For I know their works and their thoughts. It shall be that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory.
Isa 66:19 I will set a sign among them; and those among them who escape I will send to the nations: to Tarshish and Pul and Lud, who draw the bow, and Tubal and Javan, to the coastlands afar off who have not heard My fame nor seen My glory. And they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles.
Isa 66:20 Then they shall bring all your brethren for an offering to the LORD out of all nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem," says the LORD, "as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
Isa 66:21 And I will also take some of them for priests and Levites," says the LORD.
Isa 66:22 "For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me," says the LORD, "So shall your descendants and your name remain.
Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me," says the LORD.
Isa 66:24 "And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.

Was the nation of Israel in captivity and then returned to the land after Ezekiel 39:28 was written, about 571 BC?

The Book of Daniel was written about 537 BC.

Isaiah 66 is a very complex test, which should not be selectively quoted.

Isa 66:4 So will I choose their delusions, And bring their fears on them; Because, when I called, no one answered, When I spoke they did not hear; But they did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight."

“All the house of Israel, all of it,” as explicitly stated in Ezekiel 20:40 and Ezekiel 36:10, has NEVER returned to the land.

Then Peter must have been very confused on the Day of Pentecost in the verse below...

Act 2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
