Thanks for your concern. Just be aware that not being afraid is not the same as being safe.
Sometimes holy fear is correct. Remember that Noah believed and feared.
Heb 11:
7 By faith Noah, being warned by God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
The point is to not worry without doing something. Worrying by itself gets you nowhere. You have to do something.
You can worry about the dam bursting and washing you and your house away. Worrying will not save you. You have to act. You have to bug out to higher ground. Only a fool would stay in his house with his family as the water washed them all away.
I am reminded of one of my favorite stories.
A flood came upon a town and rescuers set out to save those who had not seen fit to escape the onrushing waters. As the town evacuated, one believing man stated "I know God will save me... I am not afraid." As the waters raised up higher and higher the man eventually crawled up on his roof to escape the flood. Rescuers came by in a canoe and offered to pick him. "No thanks, God will save me. I am not worried. I am not afraid." Later as the water continued to rise, another boat came by and reached out to pick the man off the rooftop. "No way," the man stated."God is going to save me... I have no fear." Still later a 3rd rescue craft came by to save him. "No thank you. God is going to save me. I have faith." Shortly thereafter the water covered the house and the man was swept away to his death.
Arriving at the Gates of Heaven, the man saw Saint Peter and asked him "Why did God not save me?" To which Saint Peter replied "What do you mean? We sent by rescuers three times to pick you up!"
Consider this forum to be rescuers who have come by to save you.
