I used to be a solid Republican for
fetal rights and a
perceived Biblical work ethic (in spite of years of unemployment and under-employment). Given mine and my children's diagnosed disabilities, and a recession that plowed under many who were successful in the middle-class, I have become disillusioned with strict, Darwinian capitalism.
I currently believe in, primarily,
capitalism, augmented by a minimalist system of
socialism.
GMI looks good to me, if minimal enough.
We still vote for fetal rights, but will consider pro-life Democrats and have no love for pro-[death] Republicans.
Continued gender segregation in public restrooms and locker rooms is also high on our list of priorities.
