How many times does it have to be pointed out that the republicans have been in control of both houses over the last two years before you stop using the democrats as an excuse?
OK. Point out exactly how they have obstructed this important work. What plans have Republicans put forward and how did the democrats stop it?

Realy? You don't know???? You act like Democrats in congress are eagerly looking forward to move bills Trump proposes thru the works without obstructing them.
Just get out of the way it would already be done.

So D-Sen. McCaskill proposed a bill and it is stuck in committee -- a committee chaired by R-Sen. Grassley. I don't see how this is Democrats preventing e-Verify.
All the Republicans had to do was pass a law that mandates using it, so why haven't they?Pres. Trump called for making improvements to the E-Verify system in order to support a nationwide mandate in his 2018 budget request to Congress. Requiring all employers to use E-Verify is the top step in our 'Ten Steps to Fixing the Broken Immigration Enforcement System'.
Pres. Trump will need help from Congress, though........
Oh I wonder why nothing is getting done.....
They have to pass it first, Trump will sign it.It appears Senators from both parties have submitted bills....yet not even a peep (or tweet) from Trump....
How many time does it have to be pointed out the margin is too small to have to rely on Dems at all.
He brings in workers to his vineyard too.I am sure it must have come up when he imported 61 foreign workers to work at the Florida White House.
Trump's Mar-a-Lago seeks to hire 61 foreign workers
Everify has been up and running for several years. AZ passed a law that all employers in that state MUST use it.I suspect Trump knows that if he gets eVerify up and running that he will have no chance at getting his wall built.

June 2018Complete the Congressionally-mandated biometric entry/exit system to track non-immigrant visitors to the U.S
We need to keep the migrate worker program. We have friends who hire legal migrate workers, several hundred, every year all summer planting, harvesting, boxing, and shipping. From what I can find it's the farmers that oppose it. I can understand that. Can you imagine what will happen to the US agriculture industry if illegal immigrants cannot work?
Since 2009, the federal government mandates certain federal contractors to use the program. As of November 30, 2012, a total of 20 states require the use of E-Verify for at least some public and/or private employers. This document summarizes 2012 state legislation, Congressional proposals, and the 2011 U.S. Supreme Court ruling upholding Arizona’s E-Verify law.
Which Republicans have been pushing for it? I'll send them a letter to encourage them.Just get out of the way it would already be done.
