It doesn’t have to do with the “uninfluenced”., it doesn’t address the “uninfluenced”, that is something you added to the issue.

What the article is addressing is the fact that the “never Trump”, not the “uninfluenced”, who were exactly what their title described, are now supporting the President.

He is winning them over through his actions.

Yep, that wall he promised is spectacular. Muslims are banned from coming into the country. Health care is now cheaper for everyone, just like he promised. None of his advisors have gone to jail. And infrastructure week? That's been one for the record books.
