I watched the video. I've seen similar videos and essays before. It is hyperbole and the unwarranted extension of metaphor. If you had the background that you ask of others, you would see this.

The gut is the gut. It is not a brain, nor a second brain, nor an indication of intelligence. That gut flora and activity can alter your mood, etc., is a function of feedback mechanisms and the influence of gut-related hormones on other parts of the body.

What makes you say your last paragraph? What do you base it on?

What does the bacteria do then when there is more of it than our cells? I raise two Malinois. Read the dogs' digestive system is different from ours, i.e. more acidic. Thus, I've been feeding them raw, meaty bones diet for many years and careful about feeding them human foods. As kids, we were taught that their tongues were dirty. Now, we're finding their mouths and tongues may have less bacteria than ours.

What the internet atheists here do not understand historical or forensic science? It's the science that most of evolution is based on.

What it means is the Cambrian Explosion debunks evolution based on the fossil record. It's that simple. If evolution was true, then we would not find the appearance and diversification of most major living animal phyla in one time interval.

spontaneous generation IS pseudoscience. This is what Pasteur disproved. Abiogenesis is a new field of study and there is a lot of current research being done . Don’t mix up your science terminology! Creationist organizations use different definitions to confuse laymen.
