CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think around that age I remember my friend teaching me either how to whistle or how to blow bubbles with bubble gum. I was really excited when I learned.I remember I couldn't whistle when I was little, but I really wanted to. Then when I was 8, all of a sudden I was able to whistle.

I didn't play with those, but that does look nice!
lol i remembered in school, all the kids knew how to do it so i asked them to teach me, but i never learned how they did the complicated ones with a string

I never knew how to do that. I did have one of those things from the fabric store that you could knit together just using your fingers. They were sort of cloth bands.@kittysbecute @Multifavs, i'm sure you both are also familiar with this as kids...lol how to do the rubberband star

That's just contradiction. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition. It's an intellectual process, while contradiction is just the automatic gainsaying of any statement the other person makes.
