The reason given so far is that Richard Branson and Elon Musk and all the rest of these private companies are being helped by NASA, and NASA is made up of all liars getting billions from the government to keep the truth under wraps.

I worked as a CNC Precision Aircraft machinist for over 25 years, could do trig at ASU Trigonometry Professors level, .. held tolerances, and checked for tolerances of 0.0002 of an inch, on, .. on yep, you guessed it, on many NASA space mission critical parts for their guidance systems, rockets, satellites. I also worked on the first Apache Helicopters, .. watched how we evolved it from (appr. 220 lb. ofwiring going through the tail, and changed it to a huge circuit board behind the cockpit etc.

And guess what? I am 101% convinced the Earth is flat from the evidence provided 2 years ago, and now there are thousands of other new evidences you can go out and check for yourself.

Now should a busload of starving N. Korean family made up of elderly men, skinny frightened women, and starving children steal a bus, and dare come even just near the NASA controlled electric fences and 6 foot thick concrete walls during one daring night, the thousands of high grade heat sensor cameras will pick them up, and NASA will release a few F22 Raptors, some of the most sophisticated tanks, or any of the hundreds of guns they have just waiting for this kind of "Terror Attack", .. and release "Shock and Awe" arsenal of bullets, flame throwers, intercontinental missiles (see below what's waiting for just such terrorists, and try to remember the Iraqi war on terror as to how many children were burnt to a crisp?)

And I am almost 100% sure that the security videos of such torture would be sent back to our NASA-Leaders to examine, and after weeks of careful examination, notify Kim Jong-un if they didn't find the punishment satisfactory!
If not, Kim will be banned from receiving his monthly Disney Movie subscription for six months, and maybe even ask Dennis Rodman from visiting Kim Jong-un, .. now that would really hurt him.

Oh, and if N. Korea has any rockets or missiles, guess who gave it to them, and taught them how to operate it? This "imaginary threat" of this so called "axis-of-evil", like the starving old men, skinny women and frightened N. I think this was the only part of your post that didn't make sense. The theory of gravity holds that the force of gravity is proportional to mass and distance. The centripetal acceleration which we would experience were the Earth spinning - as heliocentrists would have us believe - would be a smaller component at the true North, but I don't think crushing.

Another thing heliocentrists always ignore is that man is able to detect acceleration in very small amounts. Were heliocentrism true, the Earth would constantly be accelerating toward the sun, and this would be observable and measurable.

I don't think this has been subjected to rigorous experiment, despite the claims. While it may be true that gravity appears to change slightly with location (possibly due to temperature, humidity etc.), it has not been well demonstrated whether this is due to location (i.e. point on the alleged globe), or other variables which are characteristics of the location.

Pick up a physics book and look up centripetal acceleration. Earth is continually accelerating toward the sun, if it's orbiting it.
