Not so fast, Slick. Your argument appears to be,if you say that its different you should prove it. so far we know that both are ic so the burdon of proof is not on my saide.
P1. Both cars and living creatures are irreducibly complex.
P2. Cars are intelligently designed.
C. Therefore living creatures are intelligently designed.
Right?
There's a hole in that logic you could drive one of your self-replicating cars through. You need another premise:
Irreducible complexity can only arise through intelligent design.
If you use that premise, then you don't need the cars at all and your argument becomes,
P1. Living creatures are irreducibly complex.
P2. Irreducible complexity can only arise through intelligent design.
C. Therefore living creatures are intelligently designed.
See? At least that is valid logic. Now all you have to do is define the terms and demonstrate the truth of the premises and your argument will be undeniable.
