Any atheist is agnostic. Why? Are they compatible?

You should believe me because I know my own mind better than you. There is no better authority on what I believe than me.

It’s not a matter of how much you know of yourself, it’s a matter of how trustworthy you are.

You don’t examine people out before believing?

I don’t need to believe anything about you. My job is to just to give the message and let you be.

But you asked so I answered.

LOL. Your message fails and pretending you know me better than I know myself, is a dead giveaway.

I typically, don't give people much credibility, who claim to be mind readers. You can though.

Like stop jumping into my messages, if you’re going to, at least do it without crying about your feelings being hurt after.

Given that you don't know me nor do you know anyone who does, you have no choice but to accept what I tell you about myself.

Have you ever met an atheist that says he/she believes in gods? No? Then why assert the contrary?

I don’t have to accept anything lol. People choose to on trust, not because you exist.

I didn’t insert anything either. This is a thread about agnostic atheism, so that of someone that doesn’t reject the idea of the existence of a higher power, that’s my guess anyways. I haven’t gotten a clear answer from an actual atheist on this thread yet......

An agnostic atheist is one who sees no reason to accept the existence of a god, but does not claim to know that no gods exist.

Feelings hurt? LOL, I get a kick out of those who claim to be an expert on how others think and broad brush.

Since you dont remember what you stated, let me help you out.

See post 15, first paragraph.

Lol that’s a blanket statement? The person gave an example of an atheist, so I responded with “the atheist would be blah blah blah”

A blanket statement would be plural starting with “atheists are...”

Lol! But really? You hurt by THAT?????

Lmbo, you funny I’m gone. Turn to Jesus. Bye!

How compatible is following contradiction in any atheist:

1. Atheism in an atheist says "God does not exist. Period.", but
2. Agnosticism in an atheist says: "Possibly there is God."

How can a logical human step from "currently there is no globally accepted academic proof for God" into "there is no God"? Would it more logical for atheist to say "I am agnostic, but hope that there is no God"?

Agnosticism is relevant to knowledge claims. Theism/Atheism is relevant to beliefs.

People tend to confuse the two.

When you say that you are agnostic, you are claiming that you don't know, but neither do Theists or Atheists. Agnosticism is not some middle-ground position. You either believe, or you don't. There is no middle ground.

Knowledge is a concept viable in scope of one's axiomatic framework, meaning that if I categorize apple as a fruit based on some characteristics, then I know that apple is a fruit. We don't have to doubt that it's a fruit, because that's what we axiomatically categorize it as.

Belief is something that exists outside of the scope of our axiomatic framework, or something that can't be derived with any sort of certainty via axiomatic assumptions. Does God exist? Don't really know, but I believe because X Y an Z. Or I don't really know but I believe that it doesn't because X Y and Z.

Christianity as a framework though is axiomatic, and it structures God as a prime axiom. Hence, it talks about a concept of knowledge through faith (axiom/assumption). Thus, according to Christianity the paradox is that in Christianity you have to assume that God exists for this reality to make sense or for that framework to make sense.

It may seem like an absurd requirement, but such is requirement for any axioms we take on as necessary. For example, we have to assume that other people are not robots, or that we are not in a "Truman Show" type of play, etc. Any framework will be inherently axiomatic.

God can be defined as being loving and truthful. So if you come across anyone who is being loving and truthful, you have experienced God in them. The challenge can be recognizing that when you see it and respecting it. This is why Jesus said what you do unto the least of these, you have done unto me, because He lives in them and through them.

The PhD has said about herself: "The more correct term is agnostic, but I am atheist." in the video:
