Also, really, you are going to mention population limit projections that had to occur between 1804 and 1927? Before modern agriculture practices increased the number of people we could feed? Regardless of technology, there is going to be some limit as to the number of humans that can live on this planet, even if continual improvements in practices to produce food make it difficult to estimate.

It's weirder in languages in which all objects have genders by default. For example, in Spanish, all hands are referred to as if female, even though the word "manos" looks like a masculine noun. The hands is thus "las manos". -_- Spanish also has 5 different variations of "the" and don't even get me started on the verb tenses.

Funny how you folks think - once had a creationist cite an article in the NYT science section regarding the Felidae - he claimed that it proved that all felids can be traced back to one 'cat mother' and therefore no evolution.
I read the article, and noticed that it referred to a scientific publication, which I also read. And in the actual scientific article, not only did the Felids join with non-Felids in the phylogenetic tree, it also joined with things like civets and such - it was just that the focus of the NYT article was cats, so the discussion stopped there.
YECs are so funny.
