I like your thinking here. This temple has nothing to do with God's people. God's people do not build it. God's people do not support it. God's people are not involved in any way with it. Those who do build, support, and worship in it are not Gods people. They are claimers.

Who is the man of sin, the son of perdition?

Paul speaks of the rise of a "man of sin" who would sit in the "temple of God" showing himself to be like God, and exalting himself into the place of Christ Jesus on earth. I have bounced in my mind the three temples that it could possibly be that is spoken of here. The heavenly one where the war in heaven will be rage, the earthly one that is predicted to be built again in the last days, and our bodies which are the temple of God in which God's Holy Spirit is to dwell. Each in turn are place where Satan and Yeshua battle over. So I think there is an overlap of events and times and places where all three are simultaneously being fought over.

Ezekiel 28:12-17 confirms that Satan used to be one of those "covering cherubs".

Psalm 99:1 ...'The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.'

Revelation 20:11 ...'And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.'

What is the "temple" today?

Acts 7:48 ...'Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet.'

1 Corinthians 3:16 ...'Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?'

2 Corinthians 6:16 ...'And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.'

From day one, Satan never “covered”...he never protected.

Yes Judas or Judah was a prime example of the future son of perdition

Just like Satan used Judah to do his will ....Satan will use the final Anti Christ to do his will ....which is fight against yahshua to seek what rightfully belongs to yahshua ..

I think all cherubs are covering cherubs guarding the things of Hashem

It is what they think they lack in order for them to reinstate their sacrifices

This temple will draw the line between the “violent men of the covenant” (as mentioned in Daniel) and those innocently ignorant

We’re in the way. And the HOLY SPIRIT is in the way

For the HOLY SPIRIT convicts the world of sin.

Well from my standpoint a gentiles Christian believer who is oppose to the law for self righteousness...as well as one who believes yahshua fulfilled all the feast except Tabernacles ...

The falling away is returning to the law of Moses....to perform old rituals ...to walk in the ordinances again.. To walk in the old ways

Christians should not do that ....because the rehearsals are not necessary for us....we believe yahshua is the fulfillment of them.....our hope should be on a heavenly home and awaiting our new bodies. The laws we keep are love one another forgive judge not condemn not love enemies etc.. But lets not go there...no need for another law thread lol...

Or even if a new temple is erected ..a so called "messianic temple" with new covenant rituals spoken of in Ezekiel is erected ...that can constitute a falling away from our hope and faith in our desire to live with the father in heaven

We must not walk in the flesh that's the whole point of our faith .....yahshua is our redeemed ....yahshua is our sacrifice yahshua is our truth and our way to the father in heaven...

HE is all that is needed and needful. Anyone who hopes in HIM purifies themselves for HE is our HOPE

You are right, that is not what I am saying. There will come a time when the people of God will be Israel and Israel will be the people of God. It is not now, the cleansing has not yet occured, the refining has not yet occurred, the glimmers of light that reflect God within the people of God and Israel are yet to shine in all their glory. The time is coming when the blinders are removed and redemption and prophecy are fulfilled. Then we will see the true reflection of God shine in all its glory through His people. Right now we all see in part from our angle and still do not get the whole picture.

The Temple rebuilt must include the Foundation Stone which, at the moment is in the middle of the Mosque, and was previously in the Holy of Holies. Bit of a problem there!

Nope... I do not for a second buy that the Temple was located anywhere near the Mosque. There is 0% chance that the Romans would not have taken the high ground when they occupied Jerusalem.

The traditional site (Mosque) simply does not work for a number of reasons. #1 There is absolutely NO water source to cleans the temple on the "temple mount" #2 The distance from the Mikvah to the Temple Mount is simply too far for the priests to remain ritually clean.

The traditionally identified site of Ft Antonia is an absolutely absurd location to house the number of Roman Troops. It is FAR too small.

Finally, the nail in the coffin is the recent discovery of the ruins of a temple found in the City of David, you know, where scripture actually states that the temple was located. Finally, they have also discovered that the Gihon spring runs right through the temple area

They simply will not repent and believe because they do not recognize THE LIGHT.

So instead they will curse/blame/ attribute to GOD what should not be attributed to GOD
