It's a deal which should never have been on the table. There should have been a number of pre-conditions, as Mr. Trump has now spelled out.Your comments as always are appreciated.

Mr. Trump is doing, watching him dismantle Obummer's "legacy" is like a drink of cool water in the Sahara Desert. Utterly refreshing.
Had Obama not gone to war with Israel, he could have easily dealt with any threats from the Iranian leaders. Israel is prepared to go to war with Iran if push comes to shove and no one stands with it.But guys, President Obama basically had two options:
01- Make a deal with Iran
02- Go to war with Iran
Im actually interested in your view on this Bob because I know your a strong supporter of Trump. Do you think this is a good move for the USA and the Middle East?Your comments as always are appreciated.

So far the Europeans are not going along with it. They need Iranian trade. The deal has the potential to decrease global oil supply. The US is yet a net importer of oil, but Europe is a much larger importer of oil.Your comments as always are appreciated.

Thats an interesting concept. The combined power of Canada USA and the countries of Sth Am. Itd be a tough gig though because in combining like that you allow free movement of people - the sth would flood the north. But as a 100 year strategic plan (just as China does - it strategically plans better than any other country) it'd be interesting to achieve.Personally I never understood why the United States didn't just make it a point of completely dominating the western hemisphere instead of getting so heavily involved with countries 1/2 way around the world. Could you imagine a United North and South America? Now that would have been an empire the likes of which the world has never seen.
No i don't mean conquering. I mean between natural resources and knowledge we could have been quite self-sufficient.
When did Obama go to war with Israel?
Obama's Attack on Israel | RealClearPoliticsThat Barack Obama would exit his presidency with one final betrayal of Israel is a shameful act by the most relentlessly anti-Israeli president in American history. The particular form this betrayal took was the United States not only abstaining from voting on an anti-Israeli U.N. resolution, but, according to the Israelis, helping to craft and push it. (The administration has denied playing any such role, but it seems highly unlikely that Israel would make such an accusation if it couldn’t back up the assertion.)
Choosing not to veto, Obama lets anti-settlement resolution pass at UN Security CouncilIn a stunning departure from its policy over the last eight years, the Obama administration abstained from voting on a United Nations Security Council resolution Friday that demands an immediate halt to all Israeli settlement construction in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, enabling the measure to pass.
Obama pulls a bait-and-switch on anti-Israel Security Council voteThe Obama administration pulled a bait and switch in refusing to veto the recent Security Council resolution against Israel. In attempting to justify its abstention – which under Security Council rules has the same effect as a vote in favor – the administration focuses on “new” settlement building, especially in areas deep into the West Bank.

Well no the USA has threatened my nation and all other nations that will face actions from the USA if they do business with Iran or continue with the deal. The USA has issued 30 days notice to all countries to cease doing business with IranI'm pretty indifferent towards it. I don't think it will benefit or harm us in the future. I'm sure the rest of the countries will continue to abide by the deal and Iran will do the same. If only the US pulls out, it isn't going to really hurt Iran too badly.

You could follow the EU model starting with stronger partners and then gradually extending to and supporting weaker partnersExactly, wouldn't do it over night. First help Mexico get up to speed and join the union. That would have killed the border issue right there. Then keep going south and as people see success, they become more eager to join. But it boggles my mind why we chose to pour our wealth into China and shipped our service industry to India instead of South America. And it would have made more sense to have our troops dispersed in our continents rather than 1/2 way around the world as well. Just sayin.
