People with phones that can set their central heating, people with phones that can cook a turkey for when they get home. People who use their phones while driving. Underwater phones?? I can see it now, people doing the backstroke and texting at the same time.

I really don't like when people use phones or tablets to babysit their children at the grocery store or other such places. I NEVER do that and my child behaves, because he's used to interacting with his environment and the people in it. How will people learn to cope with their world when they've spent their formative years being oblivious to it?
