yes, it has been very cold today...heating on, two jumpers, cozy fluffy socks, the warmest place will be in bed for sure!

I know the feeling, I try it all ways, so now lights out (well... intentions are) 11pm, then I am awake around 4am for cocoa and the 'night watch' prayer.

Get this - the high today was 72F and the high tomorrow is forecast for 78. This will be followed by more cold weather. It's a beautiful day here in Central Oklahoma.

We had some snow after the "maybe snow/maybe hail" described above and it settled for a while, but has nearly gone now. The temps were just above freezing I think, but now my computer tells me it's got warmer, but I've got colder - indoors! It's very windy and it seems to be getting in somewhere!
Personally I'd rather have the snow than the wind.
