  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For traditional ketchup food like fries and tater tots, I use ranch or fry sauce. Onion rings have to be ketchup and mustard. Same with corn dogs.

Hash browns and breakfast hash has to have ketchup. And Heinz only; tried the Hunts and don't like it. My dad and brother substitute tobacco sauce for ketchup on breakfast foods.

My favorite breakfast, which is super unhealthy and I only get it once every couple of months now, is corned beef hash, eggs, bacon, and wheat toast. Nearly inedible without ketchup...

Anybody remember these? They grossed the heck out of me as a kid.

Yes I do. The Bible study lunch I was involved with had the green ketchup with corn dogs for Valentine's Day one year, to the chagrin of the girls.

I will say though that your post made me want breakfast hash. My grandpa used to make it with potatoes and other random stuff he would grab out of the fridge. So good....

I like certain kinds of ketchup. If it’s too runny or tastes too much like vinegar I can’t stand it.
The good kind tastes good though. I tend to use it on meat, especially meat I dont like the taste of and want to disguise.
I always use a lot of ketchup in tuna sandwiches. :)

Inside Subway today...

And then I ordered an egg&cheese and had to put ketchup on my sandwich with... packets...

My fellow Ketchupites this is unacceptable. Man has gone through great lengths in the area of ketchup-rights, but to what end? To have to succumb to blopping on our ketchup on our sandwiches at subway with packets? Where are the streams of ketchup that we once dreamed of? Perfectly even streams to rival the strokes of the brush on one of Picasso's finest paintings... that was our dream.
We must take a stand for ketchup rights all over the world... only then will we be free.
Thank you :tomato:

Sure ketchup is alright.. not crazy about it or anything.. although it's nice dipping some french fries that are on the edge of being too hot to eat and dipping them into cold ketchup.

Hey, you know what rhymes with awesome? Ketchup.

Also - speaking of ketchup packets - I just remember Whataburger here in the U.S. has these unique containers for them. They even have spicy ketchup...yup, you heard correctly...spicy ketchup.
