To get the max accuracy out of it (the site didn't mention this). Use only pictures where the face is looking straight into the camera and head not tilted. Remove your glasses or anything that obscures the face and no making faces! Haircut is not evaluated...unless the hair is obscuring the face. I assumed a limited database so a proper picture would help.

I actually get fairly consistent results with proper pictures and age estimation is pretty good...Way better than Microsoft's version.

This is the first time I have seen anything of the sort. age estimation for me is way off with my chronological age, but it does fit the range that most people assume that I am.

There's another "good" app (probably the best IMO) to rate attractiveness, pinkmirror.com. But it's also biased towards male/female white Caucasian and female Asian looks. I posted a raw picture of mine in there. If I specify male, I get between 8 and 9 (which is very attractive according to the site but I if I post any white male Caucasian (I actually tried some of your pictures here),

Seems to be accurate. Only frustrating due to racial bias and also gender bias (for Asians).

I was testing pinkmirror's estimates. It uses different numbers to calculate for female appearance. It is simply telling me that I'll be more attractive as female than as male. Pinkmirror seems to be the most accurate I've used, the only problem is that it is racially biased.

I didn't use it to retouch my picture though. Although I saw the retouch, the only thing it did is narrow my nose a little bit. The retouch did look better. The female version is quite stunning. It is a very good software to say the least.

Well I am not retouching it, I am just moving the slider to see the before and after. the second photo I am trying gets me a 9.2 before and 9.3 after.
it too involves thinning my face in a way that I think would require plastic surgery. Playing with the slider makes my original face look older.

I think that the problem is that the program was built for white Caucasian. based on this:

it is judging attractiveness by how well I fit the white caucasian attractiveness. You know, I am sure, that we find average faces to be most attractive. that is how it is judging it I am sure. the average of white male or white female faces gives certain proportions.

You are being judged by the wrong criteria.

...And comparisons are made across all races. Just by being a white male, you already have a huge bonus in scores. It might actually be accurate based on statistical data and based on many articles I have read, even Asian women would prefer a white dude if possible.

Asian women can be unusually modest, hard working, and practical in a sense that it might not be fun anymore. Of course, not always true especially for those who grew up in a Western culture. One thing mostly universally true about Asians is close family ties and elevated responsibility for taking care of parents in their old age. You can expect some of her earnings being used to financially support parents or close relatives. Ironically, these values are taught in the Bible.

my skin quality is fine, and age is generally not a factor unless we allow it to be. It is more of a psychological factor than a physical one.

I do not think I agree with this assessment. As I said before, the program seems to be designed to assess white people. So you should not think of the program as biased towards white people in the sense that it believes white people are most attractive. It is biased in that the criteria it uses for judgment is only useful in judging/describing ideal white people.

To illustrate:
To say that I have a bonus in scores for being a white male would be like entering Miss America and telling the women they have a huge bonus in scores for being female.
Or like an orange telling an apple that it has a huge bonus in scores for being an apple in a program that assesses the quality of apples. (or perhaps a Granny Smith apple telling a Fuji apple...)
the program is not rating me more highly because I am a white male. It is supposed to be rating me more highly because the proportions of my face are close to the ideal of a white male.
People of other races are judged by a different set of proportions. just like a Granny Smith apple is judged by a different set of qualities than a Fuji apple.

I would argue that the results of this program, even if they are meaningful to white people, would be as meaningless in its application to you as my judging a Fuji apple as less attractive because it is not green like my Granny Smith apple criteria claims a Granny Smith apple should be.

An asian woman who scores highly in this program probably looks very much like a white person (proportion-wise). If you score lowly in this assessment. it does not mean you are an unattractive person, it just means you are an unattractive white person. But you might be a very attractive asian person.

Of course I am still skeptical about the results anyway. As I said, I do not consider myself to be a 9.3 from 1-10. I would put myself in the average to good-looking category. 7ish

I am familiar with these traditions and agree with them. there are some aspects of Vietnamese culture (like the engagement-wedding ordeal) that I would have hang-up over.
