Google Search = Bad Results

Google is known for keeping a record of your search results when you use their browser, and then using that information to push ads on you and feed you what they think is best for you in their search results. I don't know about you, but I don't like that.

And if that's not bad enough, Google search has been getting worse and worse the past few years, in my opinion.

I use Chrome, but to my delight, I tried DuckDuckGo today, and not only discovered that their search results are better than Google's, there is an option to install DuckDuckGo on Chrome.

If you care about your privacy and want better search results, then I highly recommend DuckDuckGo.

You can use firefox and install no-script addon , like 1,7M users using it . Blocks every script , google aswell .

well they gotta make money somehow. the only problem with google I have is that they might try to warp search results to favor their own ideologies.

What I think is annoying about google is the way the old internet, in the days of Alta Vista and Yahoo, used to give us completely different types of searches. They were less individualized, and to get the same website twice you really had to know how to search for it. This meant you became familiar with a wider variety of websites.

It's possible to use DDG to get google search results (though it doesn't by default). It's not officially affiliated with it, however.
