  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Concentrate on Moses and his position between GOD and man

Aaron wasn't the one who went into the presence of GOD. Aaron listened to the world and was influenced by the demands of people who did not know GOD

As to Abraham and THE PROMISE to Abraham, GOD was specific in distinguishing sndvidenridying by name THE PROMISES SON

It was neither Ishmael or Isaac (though Isaac was the specified sign and not Ishmael)

GOD always makes a distinction and calls whom HE calls

I see Moses as one thread of the garment that is without seam, in relationship to a woman and the tree whose leaves we are clothed of; but she, as the tree in the wilderness become like the grabbing of a dog by it's ears, or a wandering between two mountains.

The Jordan overflows it's banks, all the time of harvest in relation to Jerusalem, where the law proceeds out of.
Get in the Jordan
That requires obedience on man's part
Those who hear HIS VOICE understand

Moses garment faded and perished
His garment and covering is not eternal and unchanging

When Moses brought forth the WORD of GOD, though he was called and consecrated to come up into the presence of GOD, his flesh was still effected. And he had to cover his face lest the people look upon the glory (though fading) and themselves perish

The glory of the law because of a woman was a fading glory, much like Ishmael was as the firstborn.

If you want to see it that way, then why didn't the children want to hear their mothers voice and told moses you speak for GOD and we will listen to you

Did GOD do what HE said HE would do by raising up a "prophet"?

Moses will testify that yes, GOD did what HE said HE would do

And Moses' TESTIMONY will not be alone
And Moses died, never having entered the Promised Land...though he could see it from afar...
"The Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend"...til he broke what God had given him in anger...and Moses went back up to reason with God...now no longer talking face to face...“you cannot see my face, for man shall not see me and live." Exodus 33

Something happened...

Has to do with perception..."Where art thou?"...a picture of the process taking place within...

How did the animals get from "very good" to both "clean and unclean ..."
Some animals are meant for foods and some are not. Shellfish like shrimp, crab, lobster are bottom feeders and eat the waste of other animals, as to why they are unclean and full of toxins.

Pigs have a poor digestive system and their toxins get stored in their fat, that is the main reason a pig is unclean and a cow isnt.

I know Im about to hear all the excuses from the usual folks on here, but its common sense and God created us, so he should know what is food for us and what isnt. He wouldnt tell the children of Israel, not to eat certain foods because they are unclean and then give Christians the green light to eat that same food, as God would be contradicting himself. God isnt schizophrenic to the point where for Noah anything is clean, for Moses you cant eat unclean and then after Jesus you can eat unclean again, that would mean God changes his mind about the issue every 1500 + years and it confused with his own decision.

Take Peters vision in Acts 10

Acts 10:10-14
10 Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance 11 and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth. 12 In it were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. 13 And a voice came to him, “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.”

14 But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.”

Jesus has been dead now for probably a couple of decades and Peter still isnt eating unclean foods, because they knew the dietary laws were not canceled, so when you get to Acts 10:28 the vision was revealed for this to be about Gentiles and not referring to them as unclean.

Make sure that after you finish taking care of your flesh and feed it right, that you take care of your soul as well. Most are feeding their souls pigs and rabbits and shrimp....killing it....and not even realizing it.....While they focus only of the outside...only on the thing that cant inherit the kingdom.....

Not when he was physically and in the flesh he didn't

He (Moses) only saw it from afar

Moses added an element of his imperfect flesh to GOD's HOLY WORD

He allowed the bickering of the people to influence his frustration and anger and he responded with an element of human spirit added to GOD's WORD

Other than the only part of our selves that we can add to GOD's HOLY WORD

And the only element that we can add is LOVE

No man can see GOD face to face

Because no man in his own flesh is holy and perfect and all men require a covering to come into the presence of GOD

It has to do with man's acknowledgement of who he is in relation to who GOD IS

GOD IS HOLY
Man is not

"26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me."
That's Job who pled and prophecied man's dilemma

If only there were a daysman between us who could lay HIS hand on the two of us

There is

HIS NAME IS CHRIST JESUS. SAVIOR LORD AND REDEEMER

I know MY REDEEMER lives and even afterwards after my flesh wears away, still I shall see HIM standing upon the earth in the last days

I believe the Kingdom is near and at hand. I shall enter and see God face to face for I Am given the keys. This shall happen yet while this body still lives and breath. And when I am known, I shall not see death. I see no fault in those who wish to set their hope for after death. I, however, am not a gambling man.

"And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"

I do....

GOD IS HOLY
Man is not

Man operating in the flesh/own mind...so true. Christ came as the door (back) to innocence ...the mystery hidden in the gospel...Christ IN you. When we look outside of that...instead of within, which is the dwelling place of God...it is about FINDING out who we are IN HIM and HIM IN us...

When man comes face to face with God he will die...is a picture of the process taking place within that brings us to the end of 'self'...the revelation of the son...we are

The kingdom is within...yet so many continue to look without...and the call is to "come out of her" to wake up and find our 'self' ...IN Him. ONE ... instead of two. Eating from either the feast prepared by her/woman outside/two become one... or reclining at the table prepared...through the door.

I don't disagree, some things are common sense, but this doesn't negate God telling Noah everything that moves was given to him for food.

My point really isn't so much about eating something considered clean or unclean, its about the process of our soul over the eating of it.
