RELEASE THE SNAKE

If yesterday I struck your heel
And in your pain your joy I steal
I rare up to strike again.....

For you were told we would be foes
You stand tall I lay low
Some run from me, some seek me out
And in the strike I birth doubt
I rare up to strike again......

When will you learn that I was there
And caused his tongue great strife despair
It is my hope you not find out
So I can keep you full of doubt
For if you do I surely will
Strike again in hopes to kill
I rare up to strike again......

Dazed confused poison flow
You stand tall I lay low
You seem to be the kind of man
That chooses life without HIS hand
Easy prey you walk about
Not using the Gift to find me out
I rare up to strike again......

Release The Snake

Walk on my dear and faithful friend
I whisper your ear because you lend
So do not ask why does this be
You put me here so you could see
That I will come in forms of lust
Because I hate the curse of dust
I will be what you seek out
So do not wonder why this bout
For you have made a nest for me
And I will mate your destiny

Therefore you need not question why
I nestle round your lonely thigh
For you need not run anymore
Because you gave an open door
Fear not fear not my lonely friend
I will be there til the end
Wrapped around your lustful thigh
To keep you from your home on high
I will speak and lead you there
With arms of lust disguised as care

But if you knew we are foes
You would've stayed away from those
Things that whisper in the night
Morning rise no delight
Keep my bed warm and stirred
Your mind I keep birthed blurred
If HE should come and tell you why
Cause it's HIS plan to take you High
To places where I cannot go
Heaven bright I lay low
Trust HIS word and it you spake
In Jesus name "release the snake"
