  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My grandmother does not live any more but she liked to hear everybody sing hymns and psalms in her house whenever her children visited and one of her favourite was a swedish song called Flyttfåglarna. Meaning the birds that come when summer come and fy south when fall come. It is a christian song but I can't remember who wrote it. We just sang it out of the book and sometimes my aunt played the organ or the piano in the house.

My favorites are "How He Loves" by David Crowder band and "Lord, I Need You" by Matt Maher. Although, I also really like Matthew West's "Hello My Name Is". Some other songs I like but don't know who they are by include "One Name Under Heaven" and "Sanctuary". Oh, and "My Lighthouse" by Rend Collective. I'm sure this list could go on for a while...
