How harshly is the age gap judged?

Seems more like a mistake of using female psychology to judge male psychology.

It does seem like shes judging men by what women want. But men could care less. This isn't to say having things in common isn't something men don't care about but it definitely is not at the top of the list for most men.And I'm sure most men can wait for their younger wife to mature if necessary.

I hope he knows her well enough that he isn't basing his decision on how he thinks she looks. And maturity is not a synonym for thoughtful. It actually is more that she realizes that she can't spend this month's mortgage payment on a new purse, no matter how cute it is.

Yes there is a bit of repulsion naturally I think for most men when they think of going with an older woman. Perhaps you feel this way about going with a younger man. Why this exists is probably like mehguy believes is some kind of evolutionary psychological process going on. The same thing when we think of things like incest or homosexuality. But it is still possible to look past these things and make it work

I'd say it's all on a spectrum. Men tend to care less about maturity than women, but we still like some. It's not like it's an all or nothing game. Lol.

All the men I have dated would laugh at you. They also were usually fairly freaked out because I could read them well enough to know what they were thinking. No, I haven't dated very many feminine minded men at all.
