There is a passage that Jesus said if anyone causes a Child to sin it would be better for a millstone to be tied around his neck and be thrown into the sea. What about child molesters? What if a child molests another child? Are they too far gone to be saved? For example if a child molests another child then is that Child forever lost even If they accept Jesus? Also, can adults who are trapped in this sexual sin find Jesus and actually go to heaven? Please answer and thanks

I think there's a difference between divine justice and earthly consequences. You may be saved, forgiven, and go to Heaven, but that doesn't mean the earthly consequences of the action won't happen. If you harm a child, you will be seen as the worst piece of scum on the planet. Even people in jail, the most vile among us, do not tolerate those who hurt kids.

Hello, and welcome to CF.

Any and all sins can be forgiven, except one. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven in this life or the next, according to Scripture.

So yes, sins against children can be forgiven. Sins against other men and women, sins against Christ, sins against God the Father, sins against ourselves, sins against the world at large. These can all be forgiven.

"Saving" us means "healing" us, by the way. God wants very much to heal us of the effects of sins others have done to us, and heal us from the things in us that tempt us to hurt others.

I agree. There is no get out of jail free card in this life. Sometimes it seems like we say they can be forgiven and push them to the side. Like, we are fooling them. That's why I posted this question because i want to know if they can really go to heaven or are they Beyond redemption and destined for He'll. Thank you for your insight

Look at different guys in the bible. What did Moses do? He murdered a man. He disobeyed God and never got to enter the promise land. There were earthly consequences for his actions, but is Moses still one of the greatest characters in the bible? Did he still make it to Heaven?

Paul, who used to be Saul, did some bad things to Christians.

David did bad things. Most of the characters in the bible did bad things, but God still used them. He uses the least of these and takes the circumstances in their lives to make them better. Even if you end up in jail the rest of your life, God can use you, like He's used many others, to minister in prison.

I thought it was cause a child to stumble? So like trying to choke a child's faith.

To even think of MOSES, PAUL, and DAVID as wicked men is (to me) ludicrous and evil-speak against YHWH'S called and chosen ones.
YHWH calls them faithfull and righteous,
and all through HIS WORD shows the difference between the faithful and the unfaithful, between the righteous and the unrighteous.
There's really nothing in common with them, not even a common FATHER! (as JESUS says to the wicked at several points in the GOSPEL).

One of hundreds : biblehub.com/malachi/3-18.htm
"So you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.""

There comes a point where a person is given over to a reprobate mind, at which point they would be beyond the ability to repent. Such people would never even be truly concerned with it anyway.

But until that point, God will still work with them.

So basically if your sin is as heinous as murder or child molestation God will work with you. But if said person stays in the same sin, and ignores the calling, God will give them up to the burning lusts like it says in the BIBLE?
But until that point, God will still work with them.

I'm not going to define the sins in that way, but there does come a point where people are given over to them by God. I couldn't even begin to define at what point that sets in, as it's not clearly given to us and I am not the judge of such things.

I think it's awesome that murderers (like Moses, David, and Paul) and child molesters can be saved. It gives the rest of us hope in that we can be saved out of what all we've done as well.

I think it's awesome that murderers (like Moses, David, and Paul)
As YHWH'S WORD shows the difference,
learn if possible the difference between murderers and
someone who has murdered someone.
(FROM YHWH'S WORD/ YHWH'S VIEW; not from man's definitions and view).
AS IN :
biblehub.com/malachi/3-18.htmSo you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him."
AND
where it is written in YHWH'S WORD
NOT to speak (any) evil of YHWH'S ANOINTED ONES/ chosen ones.

The unsaved are already given over.
It is up to God to show mercy to all persons granting that they repent, otherwise you will never repent.

John 3:18 shows that truth, they are condemned already those who do not believe.
Those who do come to the LIGHT show that God was at work in them, their deeds were done in God.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

About mercy, it is God who grants mercy, granting that they should know the truth after being in opposition doing Satan's will.
That we are begotten again is entirely according to the mercy of God alone, not of yourselves, being the gift of God, lest any should boast.

Those not begotten again, God has not shown to them His mercy, so they do not obtain mercy from God, and they will never come to the knowledge of the truth..

And again only by His mercy are you saved, literally His mercy, which you can also think of as His unmerited favoring grace for you to know Him.
Jesus said the work of God is that you believe in the ONE whom HE has sent, and the ONE is Christ.

Titus 3:5
not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

God saves you by making you born of God, begotten again, the washing and renewing is the being born of water and the Spirit that Christ teaches us in John 3 where you must be born again first to then enter His kingdom. That is what He does first to save you making you born of God from above, so that you can know God and Christ since once your begotten again, you have Him indwelling you and teaching you all things you need to know to accomplish His purposes for you in this life on earth.

"all sins shall be men forgiven" that is a verse in the bible,
Mark 3:28 - Bible Gateway
(see many of the translations there for fuller understanding for what is to be)
Also note, throughout SCRIPTURE,
there are many times that someone's sin is NOT FORGIVEN.
This is just as true as what is written in MARK, with NO CONTRADICTION. (as explained below)
It doesn say "except pedophila or child molestation"
Yet it is written also, that NO PERVERTS , NO LIARS, NO ADULTERS will be in heaven.
This is plainly TRUTH also.
THere is no sin that god holds towards ppl for one that is in christ.
THAT'S the difference!
Whether someone is "IN CHRIST" or not. Simple.
There is no exception to this rule or jesus wouldnt have died for all sins.
The "exceptions" are only to man's way of thinking, which is opposed to GOD'S WAY.
GOD explains all of this simply AND clearly in HIS WORD.

Shalom to ALL who are "IN CHRIST JESUS".

i already answerd you that this is not a true translation. Since your WHOLE ARGUMENT is based on this untrustworthy translation and not ALL the others which counted 55 in number, your whole argument is bound to be false.
Sorry, not even close.
Every translation disagrees with what you have apparently read into it and what you posted.
Why? < shrugs > Who knows ?
It doesn't make any difference even if you had the original ,
when taken out of context and with a pre-determined meaning.
Unless you realize that not all sins are forgiven everyone, (not counting the "unforgivable sin") ,
for instance if you believe universalism,
then , for some reason, (it doesn't really matter why),
you are opposed to the beliefs of this site we are on.

Let's all agree on this. Jesus came to save the world. He came to save anyone who will accept him. If you are able to accept him, no matter what sins you have committed then you will enter into the kingdom of heaven. God is ready to forgive and very patient. Chip molesters and murderers CAN BE SAVED. is that trustworthy analysis?
