The 'untold ages' are revealed in the geologic/fossil record, and reinforced in Genesis 1:2.

But I see the geologic ages as recent.

The ONLY reason anyone sees them any other way that I am aware, is because of a belief in a same nature in the past. That cannot be supported as time has shown on this forum.

I mean, you really see untold events and ages in there leaving the planet in ruin and then restored??

The Hebrew is a monotone string of consonants that have been translated and interpreted in many areas according to long held traditional beliefs. Certain words were chosen that don't accurately reflect the whole narrative. Thankfully we can deconstruct the text to the original Hebrew and exchange some of these words.

How do you confirm the prayer was the cause of the effect you witnessed? Just because you prayed before something happened doesn't mean that the prayer was the cause. This is also known as the post hoc fallacy.

Let's say I pray for 10 different things and get 10 different results. That doesn't tell me that the prayer was the cause of these results.

I ask again: HOW do you confirm the prayer is the cause for an event and not something else?
