CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Your quote have to be taken on faith, and if I can believe Christianity on faith, I can believe any religion since they all require faith, since I have no faith, that explains why I'm an Atheist

Sooo you put Christianity's forgive-thine-enemy Bible right down there next to Islam's convert-or-die Koran, do you?
Not to mention the Hindu scriptures that Shoko Asahara used to justify the Tokyo subway attack in ... I think ... 1996?
Do you consider Heaven's Gate site "Higher Source" to be deserving of equal airtime than the Bible?
Or how about Mormon's bloodletting Doctrine and Covenants?

Isaiah 53 is a chapter on prophecy.....It gives great details to the future Christ. So detailed for it to over come the great odds for it to not occur someone with a knowledge of the future had to have written it.
Then again you already knew that.

I have no reason to revere one over the other, to me, all of it has no credibility, why should I place 1 myth over another?
And I'm sure you know that the history of Christianity is not exactly innocent....

I don't know and you don't either. The difference between you and me is that I don't need to invent an explanation just because it's makes you feel uncomfortable to say "I don't know".
