  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Are you talking physical or mental?

I don't know what the psychology literature says, but from my experience a lot of it is pretty outdated and bad.
Well, if you don't trust scientific studies, what about pop culture? I mean the women judged to be attractive are not madculine by any stretch of the imagination. Marilyn Monroe is still pretty much considered THE sex symbol, I guess that is pretty indicative of most men's tastes.

You have to look at it from study to study. Plenty of studies contradict each other. Not to mention theories about psychology change all the time. It's just shaky ground from my experience.

Yeah, I said men like both. Hyper-normal feminine women, and masculine women.

Personally I do not like the tom-boyish look on women, but I do like women who are more masculine brained.

Its not that for me,I just love the oldies but goodies.

Yeah, speaking of oldies. The Honeymooners is a great show too. It also heavily inspired The King Of Queens.

@MehGuy (to continue from the other thread in a place where it's a little less offtopic)

The sin nature ("original sin", "the flesh" as the Bible often calls it) is something all humans have and are born with. It's a part of our physical make up, our body is actually the cause of much of our sin, our bodies desires, etc. People who are lead by the flesh (so people who are not born-again and don't have the Spirit of God inside them) automatically obey the lusts of the sinful nature, they do it naturally.

That's not to say then that our sin is to be blamed on our bodies and that we have no responsibility, instead it's that our sin is manifested as the fallen bodies/minds we live in. That's a somewhat hard concept to grasp, but so-long as you understand that the responsibility of sin isn't latched onto something outside of our free will you can grasp what I'm saying.

Mankind are considered sinners until they're born again. When they become born again, while still having the sinful nature, we are no longer lead by the sinful nature and it's desires but instead are lead by the Spirit of God inside us.

All of humanity other than those who have believed in Christ are driven by their sinful nature. Their flesh desires to sin, and they give into their flesh's desires. Some more than others, but that is another matter.

Those are the basics anyway.

This is the most I've ever struggled to actually want to exist.
It heals. Might not seem like it, but it does in time. I lost the person I loved the most in the whole world, so I'm not just talking from nowhere.

She loves me. I never imagined it to get to this stage. I've never had a girl say this to me as serious as this is.

It's a strange feeling when it does come. You expect it to feel more real, or even more exciting. I remember it being quite the anti- climax.

I guess maybe it's because a new chapter has begun, and spiritually you're in a different place than you were before.

I don't know. Life, eh?

Been lowering my new medication and went to work today to test things out. I'm hoping I won't start collapsing again.

They found that whenever I stand up, my blood pressure drops. They still think it's the medication. I'm on a brand name this time so we're lowering it slowly. So far, I feel fine but it's only a matter of time before my dizzy spells act up again...
