  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I can't say I was ever a huge fan, but he seemed cool enough in the movies I'd seen him in here and there over the years. A shame and, naturally, a bit of a shock to see Bill Paxton go this morning. :(

First day beginning my new music course.

Cannot say I'm impressed - very disorganized lecturers and they don't seem to meet a high level of professionalism. Hasn't met my expectations at all.

I gave up a manager's position for change and now it seems it wasn't worth it. Very disappointed and this was a big step for me.

Sure it was only the first day.

But there's also a heavy influence of cultural imposition that I don't like at all. It was like a classroom full of teenagers with teachers that are just trying to kill time.

Thinking of getting a refund right away and going to find a new job to enter back into.

The way to remedy that is by having a triple decker coffee! Brew a pot, then take that coffee and brew it two more times with fresh beans every time. It'll put hair on your chest :D

Bah 5 am is a late start to the day.

I just pray that my 2-4am and on occasion midnight-1am days are done. I've paid 10 years of those dues.

Im good with a 6-7 wake up for the rest of my days :D
