The original source of sexuality was reproduction.
There are many sexual things, but scores of
offspring is not often considered sexual.

Doesn't sexuality mean reproductive organs and their stimulation?

First recognize that having sex is the same as marriage in God's eye. Further note that sex and marriage has the purpose of reproduction. Now look what scripture says.

Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.

Genesis 2:24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and
they become one flesh.

Matthew 22:30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

The consequences of sex is reproduction. The act creates a union of flesh, they become one. Now Jesus clearly states there will be no unions of people to each other in heaven or the next age.

From this I conclude that if there is no reproduction, there is no need for reproductive organs. Jesus says we will be like angels in heaven. So I say there will be no gender in our resurrected bodies.

Isnt marriage not essentially a sexual union, but rather it creates the proper context for it?

That's the last thing I think of looking at the picture.
Is that what you get from that photo?

Well I have to answers.

First response is sex is for reproduction and bonding. Theres no need for that in heaven. Next response is once the new earth is created we have new bodies. Though even in that case there is no need for sex at all. We are all thats it once there.

Though, and this isn't in the bible I don't know what happens past that point. Maybe God after thousands of years will be like "Lets grow the population since sin doesn't not exist!" And he makes sex a thing again. But I doubt it only because biblically we are the bride of Christ (whether your male or female). Also we will look different, but recognize loved ones somehow. So since we are a bride it means we won't be married to our earthly spouse.

I don't feel that it matters either way. I highly doubt that God is going to give His sheep new bodies that can be sexually aroused and then declare that there will be no sex. So either our new bodies will not desire sex, and we won't have sex, or our new bodies will come with that pleasurable function, and we will engage in it. My very strong guess is towards the former, but hey. In either case, I am sure it work out fine, nobody is going to be walking around feeling frustrated in heaven. And if someone feels scared or depressed about the idea of never having sex in heaven, well all I can say is that I have had a couple mighty fine psychedelic trips in years past, and just trust me, there are states of being where you will never miss or think of sex again if you were permanently in that euphoric state, and I'm guessing that heaven is going to be even way better than my haphazard drug experiments during my rebellious early 20s.

All we can say for sure is that we will be like Christ, for we will see him as he is. The former things will pass, and all things will be made new, holy and glorious. What this state is in nature or essence, I don't think any man can dream of, comprehend or put into words. This is a long-winded way of saying, I think sex has served its purpose in this age, but something far greater awaits; a perfect unending union with God, thanks to the mercies of our Lord!

Why would we need sex in Heaven? That's a earthly thing of being human, I think. When we go to Heaven, that's where it's Paradise and our earthly and bodily ties are broken.

Earthly = bad, spiritual = good -> gnosticism.

To go into more depth about why that is wrong, imagine the Son in an earthly, physical, 100% human body, being tortured, executed and condemned as though he deserved it.

Well now we are getting into some deep concepts. I will say this why assume humans need to reproduce to have sex. Most people have sex now for fun.

Not everyone has fun out of sex, even some people just fake it, that's the truth.

The pleasure is simply introduced into sex because otherwise, no one will live together and procreate and creation will go extinct.

Jesus ate food for fun not out of necessity.

Jesus did not eat food for fun. In a human body, He still became hungry and still have to eat for sustenance. There are even times He was offered food but He refused.

Besides, how can Jesus preach about "self-denial" if He indulged Himself or if he's fat? Wouldn't that sound hypocritical?

a) Jesus as the last Adam restored our humanity. Hence we receive resurrected bodies to live in a restored world, not heaven. We become more fully human. We will be fully sexual but how that will be expressed is not stated.
b) Humans, not angels are to act as God' s agents over His creation. Angels do not likewise reproduce as earth is not their realm.
c) Sex is fundamentally about relationship not merely reproduction. "Adam knew Eve.." The imagery of marriage and church (bride of Christ) and idolatry being likened to adultery builds on that understanding.

Can anyone tell us what the angels in heaven are like without pulling pseudo science out of their posterior?

Luke 18:16
But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

They are like little children in the context of pure and innocent.

It begs the question if innocent little children would even think of having sex.

No it doesn't. You're obviously manipulating the argument, and there are some seriously screwed up people who will use guilt to manipulate their impressionable minds. They assign blame and seek to convince their victims that they deserve it.

The world is full of people, including children, because of procreation. Their being in the world has no bearing on the morality of sexuality in general.

I will begin with 'no one knows'... As much as many will authoritatively state otherwise, no one knws beyond that which you have already said.

The reason, I ask because it said we are no longer given in marriage and we are like angels.

Marriage as we know it serves as a picture of family, of tribes and of generations. As a teaching tool it is invariably used to describe an husband/wife relationship between YHWH and nations, culminating in the very same relationship between Yeshua and a nation called the Church. After the consummation of that marriage, the picture of the family is no longer needed...

Does that mean that family is no longer needed? I certainly hope not. Perhaps family becomes realized perfectly. 'Till death do us part' has no more meaning...

So are just stop being sexual brings? Sex is big part of being human after all.

The sex ain't the thing. It is the product of the sex that is the big part of being human. Your perspective is like the kid who receives a wonderful gift and is satisfied to play with the box it came in. Sex ain't the point.

I can't imagine a heaven without children - without grandbabies - generations and generations of grandbabies. How lucky Shem was to see his grandbabies all the way down to Abraham... To see his House, and all the Houses springing forth in his line. Such wealth beyond measure!

And likewise animals - Heaven without a doe stepping out of the brush into a dewy, foggy pasture, with a couple fawns stumbling along behind her? I can't even imagine it. No more puppies? No children playing with puppies? No lambs, calves, foals, kittens? No young lads with young dogs sneaking away to a fishin hole on a warm summer day? a fishin hole with genration upon generation of fish laying in the shadowy pools... Sorry, I just can't see it.

Not sure who this is directed at, but I agree. Sex according to God's design is not evil by any means. It's good and it serves a holy purpose. However, we know from Holy Scriptures that in the beginning God instituted marriage between man and woman. But we also know that in Christ there is no male or female (that's not to say that in our current age we should all live celibate), and we will not be taken or given in marriage in the resurrection. In other words, I think when considering the restoration of all things, I don't think it will be a complete revert to Eden, but rather that all things are made new in a way that we don't understand, because it's not fully revealed to us, and Eden, or, the New Jerusalem is brought forth through that.
In the words of our Lord: "Behold, I am making all things new."

There needs to be a distinction between sexuality and lust, which is of the flesh. The two are intrinsically linked in our earthly bodies, but when we have our new bodies I dont expect lust to be an issue. I think God will be all sufficient for us and without fleshly lust we will not require sexuality, but will instead be reliant on Him.
