Again, 'eighth day solemn assembly'? NONE!
"seventh day solemn assembly" -- ONCE, in calendrical seven days in the Seventh Month, from the 15th (1) 16th (2) 17th (3) 18th (4) 19th (5) 20th (6) to the 21st AND LAST day in booths,
<<Nehemiah 8:14-18>>,
"AS IT IS WRITTEN" verse 15. No eighth day!
"Also DAY BY DAY" from the first day (15th) including[*] the last day (21st) ... they kept the feast : SEVEN DAYS."
[* There is no word equivalent of "unto" in Hebrew]

<<Ezra 3:6>>,
"From the first day of the Seventh Month began they to offer burnt offerings..."

<<1 Chronicles 7:9-10>> ............... on and on and on........... NO, <<eighth day>>!

You are a Christian you say? What would every Christian reader expect of you now?
That's right... go ahead! IF, you are a Christian.

Post script,
I must now apologise. I forgot your #95. I am very sorry. GE

gerhardebersoehn,

1. 2 Chronicles 7:9; And in the EIGHTH DAY THEY MADE A SOLEMN ASSEMBLY.

2. Nehemiah 8:18; And on the EIGHTH DAY WAS A SOLEMN ASSEMBLY.

3. You say there was no eighth day and in itself that is a plain lie.

4. Ezra 3:6; From the first day of the seventh month began they offer burnt offerings unto the Lord. This talks about the sabbath in the seventh month doing burnt offerings not a solemn assembly and that is why the eighth is not mentioned.

5. 2 Chronicles 7:9; And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days and the feast of seven days.
Nehemiah 8:18; And they kept the feast seven days and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto a great manner.
Saturday sabbath 1st day, Sunday 2nd day, Monday 3rd day, Tuesday 4th day, Wednesday 5th day, Thursday 6th day, Friday 7th day, Saturday 8th day Leviticus 23:38-39. They kept the feast 7 days starting with the sabbath and the eighth day which was the next sabbath and this is true.

6. 2 Chronicles 7:7; Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the Lord:for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat. This was on the sabbath and the keeping of the feasts 7 days started on the next day after the sabbath.

7. Nehemiah's account was they had to be in the booths for seven days Leviticus 23:42; Ye shall dwell in booths seven days.
In Nehemiah it wasn't until the second day they went into the booths. 7 days in the booth and celebrating the feast days so the eighth day would have been the day after the sabbath.
Sunday to Saturday 7 days and eighth day would have been Sunday because of starting on the second day which was after the sabbath.

8. The feast of trumpets into the seventh month (Leviticus 23:23-25) was a type of the future regathering of Israel Matthew 24:29-31.
The Feast Day of Atonement in the seventh month Leviticus 23:26-32. This is the type for Israel's future atonement Zechariah 13:1.
The Feast of Tabernacles in the seventh month Leviticus 23:33-43 was a type of Israel's millennial rest Amos 9:13-15; Zechariah 14:16-21.

9. In the first month are the Feast of Passover, Unleavened Bread and the firstfruits.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread was on the seven day sabbath of the Jews. Leviticus 23:68.
This is a type of the holy walk 1Corinthians 5:8.
The Feast of Firstfruits Leviticus 23:9-14. This is the type of the resurrection of Christ 1 Corinthians 15:22-23. This was the day after sabbath.
The Feast of Weeks began with the offering of the firstfruits and the last day was the Feast of Pentecost which were both after the Jewish sabbath.

9. Leviticus 23:41-43 the feasts were for Israel as a statute forever and dwelling in booths in the seventh month.
You are wrong again and being legalistic in trying to make Saturday the only day to assemble for the body of Christ and worship.
You prove to me how you can be blessed or enter in God's rest more or in a better way than I can on Sunday or any other day!!!! Jerry kelso

<<2 Chronicles 7:9>>

…is about the inauguration of the temple in the Seventh Month (5:3). Not about Jesus’ “three days thick darkness” in the hell of his Last Passover of Yahweh Suffering, although Solomon did say, “The LORD hath said that He would dwell in thick darkness” with one prophetic realisation about Messiah in view, “that MY NAME might be there … to build an House (the Church) for the NAME of the LORD GOD”, “in Christ” (chapter 6).

“Then at the same time” --in the Seventh Month, 5:3-- they “kept the seven-days-feast” the feast of “tabernacles” figuring forth the coming of Jesus the Anointed, Christ. Read again chapter 6:1-8 but go on after verse 9 and see the most wonderful prophetic vision of Jesus Christ! Verse 18, “But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Thee!” But “The Word was made flesh … and dwelt among us…” in very deed!

So far the symbolism is the symbolism of the passover in the First Month which the feast of booths after the “Great Day of Atonement or Judgment in the Seventh Month had become but a miniature and shadow of.

Solomon now institutes a new feast “on the day eighth day … the DEDICATION of the altar (after) they had kept the seven days” feast of booths. (8:9) And remember the huge numbers of sacrifices which Solomon had slaughtered for this dedication, 7:5. Keeping the grandeur of Solomon’s temple and its dedication in mind, read chapter 8. O Solomon, the LORD does not require of you sacrifice and offerings of the great and mighty, and does not look at the miracle your construction of this temple has been. The Lord’s praise for Solomon is reserved with clear and stern innuendos. The LORD’S approval rather comes as a rebuke and censure because Solomon brings the LORD GOD these august offerings which He did not require or expect of him or anyone ever. All Solomon’s prayers and praises and achievements in the worship of God, receives reprove and warning from the LORD, but mercifully and graciously. Solomon must never think too much of his own investments and reserves; also not so us, of Solomon’s new invention for which he had to add an eight day to the commanded seven days the LORD GOD commanded Israel to observe the feast of booths in.

For New Testament believers this is a serious matter. Don’t think this kind of free will religion would please our Lord Jesus Christ! O no! Remember John 10. Jesus would not allow, to bring his Passover Sacrifice on the altar of Solomon’s or Herod's majestic altar! (2Chronicles 4) “But He walked – just walked – out of their hands!” He would “make Sacrifice of Himself” on God’s own Altar, and “God will Himself provide a Lamb”, Genesis 22:8. God did not command Solomon or Israel OR CHRISTIANS to keep any “eighth day”—it’s wrong; it is, sin.

gerhardebersoehn,

Says nothing about when the feast days commenced, therefore the 8th day cannot be the 1st day. If you are trying to show that there were ceremonial feasts that were on other days than the 7th day Sabbath, then congratulations. It does not, however, nullify the 7th day Sabbath instituted at Creation and spoken of in every single book of the Bible.... not a light thing to be trifling with Jerry.

Aside from personal testimony which is subjective, it is because God said so throughout the Bible...

Can you show me where God said He would bless those that keep the 1st day?

eastcoastremnant,

1. I asked you already to show me where Jesus enforced the Jewish sabbath on gentiles in the church age which was on the Day of Pentecost which was on Sunday where 3000 were saved.
Sabbath day was being observed on Saturday and Sunday so you can't claim Saturday only except for in your vain imagination.

2. As far as your answer about personal testimony being subjective is really a cop out and only half right.
You believe Saturday only is a commandment which it is not and you believe it is sin. At the same time you are legalistic and that is sin.
Colossians and Corinthians is both about not judging about the sabbath or esteeming one day over the other
and that is what you do and that is sinful. Jerry kelso

As I already showed you, Jesus didn't need to enforce the Sabbath on Gentiles anymore than He enforced not stealing from your neighbour... being obedient to the Commandments was a tenet of being a Christian. Jesus did not come to destroy the Law but to magnify it... magnify does not mean change or eliminate. Again, if the change of worship wasn't declared before Jesus died, then it can't be in the new covenant as it was sealed with His blood... not at Pentecost.

2. As far as your answer about personal testimony being subjective is really a cop out and only half right.
What about the other half of the answer to your question? That people that honour God by keeping His Sabbath are blessed because His Word repeatedly declares it. You are showing your desperation to only want to argue and not learn when you only cherry pick bits and pieces from my reply... the same way you are doing from scripture to support your beliefs.

eastcoastremnant,

1. I am not cherry picking because believe in taking all scriptures on the subject.

2. I have shown you the plain scripture about the eighth day solemn assembly.
I have also showed how you arrived the seventh day was the first and the eighth and I agreed and I showed the plain scripture that backed that up.
The problem is that you believe that is meant for every context that speaks about the weekly sabbath.
The feast days were set dates and that is why the first and eighth were the same.
At the same time those scriptures in contexts from the general rule of thumb; not the Seventh not being the first and eighth but in starting a day later in celebrating the feasts.
Even at that the weekly sabbath was different.
So I have not cherry picked anything. It is you that won't believe in twisting the context and try to make one context fits all when it doesn't.jerry kelso

The eighth day solemn assembly was just a you counted it out before. It was the end of the SECOND Sabbath . As far as how can you be blessed or cursed when it comes to Sabbath observance, hold on just a minute , because it'll take a few minutes to type them all. All in ALL- hundreds

God's day vs man's day, just like what God said vs what man said. Cain did it his way. If thou doest well , shalt thou not be accepted? Jude 11 and context gives you plenty of insight of where God categorizes disobedience. People got Sunday worship from rome. Written history does not refute but confirms this fact. Man made vs God made. It's what paganism and the devil's first lies are all about. "And ye shall be like god's..." and "ye shall NOT surely die" are lies indoctrinated into pagan/Christianity not long after the Apostles fell asleep. Immortality of the soul and man's Sabbath are Rome's biggest deceit and the Bible makes it clear that on judgement day, your excuses will not suffice. Rome is not dead and she continues to draw all the Protestants back into her fold. We are commanded to "Come out of her, my people, lest you receive of her plagues...". You can chalk it up to think God doesn't care which day we worship, but I beg to differ, as does the WORD of the Living God. Rome claims that ALL the churches that keep Sunday PAY HER HOMAGE! You can read that and ALL their lies, even the infallibility of the pope AND that his word is above scripture. This is only a couple of SMALL pieces of evidence as to her true identity, as if that's not enough! Here's what God says-
Genesis 2:2-3-
And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Exodus 16:5-
And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.

Exodus 16:22-23-
And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
23 And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

Exodus 16:26-30-
Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
27 And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.
28 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
30 So the people rested on the seventh day.

Exodus 19:4-6-
Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Exodus 20:5-6-
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Exodus 20:8-11-
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exodus 25:16-
And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.

This thing is doing its AD hop jerky thing again. I'll make more posts, HOPEFULLY uninterrupted.

Exodus 31:13-18-
Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

Exodus 32:9-10-
And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

Exodus 32:16-

And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.

Exodus 33:14-
And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

Exodus 33:19-
And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

Exodus 34:6-7-
And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

Exodus 35:2-3-
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

Leviticus 19:3-
Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 19:30-
Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

Leviticus 20:26-

And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

Leviticus 22:31-33-
Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,
33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.

Leviticus 23:3-

Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

Leviticus 23:39-
Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
HERE IS YOUR EIGHTH DAY, WHICH IS THE SECOND SABBATH LIKE PREVIOUSLY NOTED.

Exodus 20:5-6-
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

I'll make more posts, HOPEFULLY uninterrupted.

sabbathkeeper&wife,

1. God said nothing about the sabbath to Cain being wrong. It was his offering. You are reading into that because of your false belief about creation sabbath.

2. His disobedience had nothing to do with the sabbath for they had no written law.
They were ruled by their conscience and his conscience and the Lord's voice. Neither spoke of or implied about the sabbath.
Jude 1:11 going after the error of Balaam and the gainsaying of Core. Nothing about God and his sabbath. You are contriving that passage.

3. Rome...starting sabbath? You are wrong as I have showed by scripture before the church, in the early church and after the gentiles came into the picture.
If the apostles thought so much of the sabbath they would have mentioned it at the council for the gentiles to keep.
You think the Catholics started the Sunday worship with Constantine when Catholic history records that it started with the Gentiles of Paul's ministry while the Jews continued with the saturday sabbath.

4. The rest is showing the Jewish sabbath under the age of law that was mandatory with a specific judgement if broken. The Jews have the sabbath forever for perpetual generations. This Was nevertheless a commandment for the church especially at the council and in Paul's ministry.
You are not being honest about history or correct context of the word of God. Jerry kelso

Leviticus 26:2-4-
Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Numbers 15:38-41-
Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:
39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
41 I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 5:12-14-
Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

Deuteronomy 6:1-9-
Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
2 That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Deuteronomy 7:8-9-
But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Deuteronomy 11:13-14-
And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.
SAME OIL THE TEN VIRGINS NEED- THE HOLY SPIRIT! SAME LATTER RAIN- GODS DOCTRINE, NOT MAN'S. THIS IS THE END OF TIME, NOT BEFORE ROME CHANGED THE SABBATH.

Here's a little icing since we're right here at it to explain a few things.

Deuteronomy 31:27-30-
For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?
28 Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them.
29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
30 And Moses spake in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended.

Deuteronomy 32:1-7-
Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
3 Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.
4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
5 They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.
6 Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?
7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

Deuteronomy 32:16-22-
They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.
17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
19 And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.
20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.
21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
THIS CONSUMING THE EARTH, ITS ALL YET TO BE.

Deuteronomy 32:24-37-
They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
25 The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.
26 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:
27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this.
28 For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.
29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?
31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:
33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.
34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?
35 To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
36 For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.
37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,
LOOK AT THIS CLOSELY, AS THEYRE TALKIN ABOUT SATAN, WINE OF BABYLON AND ANOTHER JESUS. THERES NEED TO STUDY ALL THESE THINGS CAREFULLY. THE EARTH ISNT BURNT UP TIL THE LAST! THERES MORE END TIME PROPHECY- THE SECOND ADVENT THAN THE FIRST IN THE OT- FACT

Deuteronomy 32:43-
Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

Joshua 1:18-
Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.

I'm not EVEN hitting on all the commandments requests and penalties, yet

Nehemiah 9:13-17-
Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:
14 And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:
15 And gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them.
16 But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,
17 And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.

Nehemiah 9:27-28-
But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee: therefore leftest thou them in the hand of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies;
29 And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.

Nehemiah 13:15-19-
In those days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I testified against them in the day wherein they sold victuals.
16 There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.
17 Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
18 Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.
19 And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day.

Resting a moment, then picking up with EZEKIAL, I'll include so COUNTER-Sabbath apostacy just for colour.

More to follow
sabbathkeeper&wife,

1. I addressed these scriptures.
Allsabbaths and holy days were sanctified.
The sabbath was for the Jewish nation forever never for the gentile christians by Paul's ministry.
I was the that addressed Leviticus 23:39 in agreement with first and eighth days being sabbaths. Those were in the contexts of the Feast in the seventh month which were set dates.
I also addressed the context of Ezra and Nehemiah's and you refuse to believe the true context and when you cannot give an adequate answer you make excuses so you can slip pass the whole context to keep from embarrassing yourself of the real truth that you keep denying. It is your choice. Jerry kelso

Got a few stops before Ezekial .

Joshua 11:15-
As the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses.

Psalms 92:1-
A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.) It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

Isaiah 4:1-4-
And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

THESE SEVEN WOMEN ARE APOSTATE CHURCHES, WANTING TO WEAR THERE OWN APPAREL AND EAT THEIR OWN BREAD! THATS DOCTRINE. COLORS. BELIEFS, FOLLOWING NOT THE MAN(JESUS CHRIST) THAT THEY TAKE HOLD OF. ONLY LET US BE CALLED BY THY NAME. JUST LIKE CAIN! DOING IT THEIR OWN WAY. JUST LIKE MANY, MOST EVEN.

HERE'S A GOOD ONE REGARDING THE WORK OF THE LORD. KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AFTER HIS WORK? HIS REST. What about THIS WINE?

Isaiah 5:11-14-
Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
12 And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

This thing is still jerking and trying to freeze up. Ads going crazy again.

????? What? Did you stop interrupting? You'll have PLENTY TO REPLY ON. I can go on all day with God's word. Even have verses about strong delusion for loving not truth, which THAT truth not loved ends up being disobedience to Jesus. 2 Thes.2 & 1 John 5, but I'll get there. It's what most people CANT understand so they continually argue against HUNDREDS of verses. Blind. You actually think that God spent so much time beating the Sabbath into people's heads just to walk away from it because people won't keep it? That is delusional. Not ONE JOT. EVER.

Glad you got it all figured out. I'm still writing WHAT GOD SAID, NOT MAN.

sabbathkeeper&wife,

1. Sorry, but you are not saying what God said about the ssdo doctrine.

2. Elder Andrews, the most ablest historian of the Adventist ever had said that the Catholic Church Early Church Fathers did not have any new light concerning the neglecting of the sabbath anymore than we do today concerning the sabbath.
He said if it is true that the word says that the Jewish sabbath was abolished and christians observed the first day as the Lords day and as the sabbath, then it is foolish for anyone to reject such simple and true light.
He rejected the notion that the Cc started the Sunday sabbath afterwards like in Constantine days.
He knew this meant the sabbath was only for Jews under the law of Moses and Jews for perpetual generations.
If your denomination wants to believe SSDO it would be better to make it a denominational doctrine of conviction and not a doctrine of the Bible because that is what it is. Jerry kelso
