The irony is that it is perfectly ok for us to destroy Gaddafi's Palace in Libya. But it is not OK for Putin to go on Facebook and give his opinions in the hope of having an influence on the next president.
It is the same in China. Mormons and Jehovah Witness are banned. We had some Jehovah Witness coming to our house once a week to study one of their books. At the time we had a Foriegn Exchange Student from China and he did not sit in on the discussions because of the laws in his country that have an impact on the teaching of Jw's. There was no problem for him to attend our church and he even attended one of the youth church camps. Although even that was a little confusing for him. Like I said God does things His way and His way is not man's way. In this day and age He is cleaning the church of false teaching and His desire is to purify His people so we can stand before Him without spot, blemish or wrinkle. Meaning having our flesh cleansed of impurity.
I do not know that he is persecuting Christians. I see what peoples reaction is but I have not seen what Putin has to say about the law yet. Trump and Putin are the two most powerful people in the world right now. From what Putin has posted on YouTube I support what he is trying to do. In fact I heard 1/3 of Republicans supports Putin. He is very popular in his own country. Over a half a million people died because Obama decided to go to war with Putin in Syria. I really do not see what was accomplished by that. Just like over half a million people died when Bush decided to attack Iraq and I do not see what was accomplished by that either. Now we have a million people, mostly muslims that are dead and I really do not see what they accomplished because very few guilty people died and mostly innocent people were killed. In the Philippines they go after Abu Sayyaf the Jihadist terrorist group and they do not have to kill innocent people to accomplish their purpose.
During WW2 we made a decision to side with Stalin rather than to support Hitler. That was the choice they made at the time. I have no confidence in Obama or Hillary to deal with Putin. Under Obama and Hillary lots of innocent people died, Yazidi girls were sold into sex slavery and there are christians that are getting their heads cut off. As well as the destruction to ancient artifacts. I have a lot more confidence in Trump and his ability to work with Putin. I became aware of that war when I was doing a study of ancient historic sites going back many thousands of years. I was amazed by the refugees and the conflict that is going on there today in this day and age.

Oh I am sure Syria would still have a war if Russia and the United States did not get involved but they would not be using advanced weapons of mass destruction. They would be using home made weapons. Yes that is all a part of it. That is why the only real truth is in the Bible. I repeatedly tell you that God is going to accomplish His plan and His purpose. For some reason you seem to doubt God and the written word that He has given us. I have read books like Corrie Tan Boon when she watched her father die in prison and her sister die in Ravensbrück concentration camp. My dorm father in High School had an eye knocked out by a prison guard in a Polish Prisoner of war camp. He was very young at the time because he was a part of the Youth Group that Hitler sent to the front line. All of these things we have to come to terms with and understand as God gives us wisdom, knowledge and understanding. His rock solid promise to us is that: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28. Not some of the things: ALL things work for the good. We do not want to have to go through some of what we have to go through in life. But God's rock solid promise to us is that He will cause good to come out of all that happens and all that He allows to happen to us in our lives.
I mean american weapons of war against Russian weapons of war. Money should not be spent on weapons to destroy innocent people. We need to buy them food and provide human relief for their needs. That is why we are told: "He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore." Isa 2:4 We fought the civil war to put an end to slavery and in some ways we are still fighting that war today. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12
I never said that. I am not a military expert. But I know enough to know that Obama is an idiot and he made a mess out of Syria and I believe that Trump can do a better job than Hillary. Just what is it that you are having problem with?
The point is the story that Jesus told in Luke 18 about the sinner who was justified before God and the Pharisees who was NOT justified before God. It is a good thing that Obama admits that he can not justify himself. But if you want to accuse him of being a Pharisees then go ahead, that is on you not me.
Maybe but like I said: Putin and Trump are the two most powerful men in the world right now. They are pretty much running the show. You can be all doom and gloom and the end is near if you want. I believe the Christian Church will be taking the gospel to the ends of the world one more time and THEN the end will come. God is clearing the way for us to accomplish His plan and His purpose in our day and age. If Putin wants to get rid of the Jw's and the Mormons then maybe it is because their doctrine conflicts with the Orthodox Church. Russian has long been known to only approve of the official Orthodox church. As far as I know the TBN Russian network is doing just fine. Russia does not seem to be doing anything to put them out of business.
