For the law has been placed on my heart and written on my mind God desires me to keep and through the law we become conscious of sin( rom3:20)
To me that's how we know
I agree fully. ‘For the law has been placed on my heart and written on my mind’

This is true. This is what God desires for each one of us.

A question I would like to ask is this -- Have you ever read the Book of Hebrews, and/or the Book of Romans, the Book of Leviticus? Have you been influenced by these portions of Scripture in coming to an understanding of right and wrong?

My conclusion is that God has placed his law in your heart and mind as you’ve contemplated His Word. And the closer you follow the Word of God, the more accurately you will understand his will for you.

THE LAST TWO PARAGRAPHS MAY NOT EXPRESS PROPERLY WHAT I’M TRYING TO SAY – BUT HERE IT IS ANYWAY.

The basic laws God wants you to keep are immediately written on your mind and placed on your heart at the point of conversion. They must be, for what is in your heart you in your heart want to obey.
The christian has a saviour from their sin, this depends on them being born again. The holy spirit enters your life at the point of conversion and writes the law on your mind and placed it on your heart. In this sense you have been born again for you have been supernaturally changed into someone who in your heart wants to live as God desires you to. Note the wording of the following:

I will write my laws in their minds and place them on their hearts
THEN HE ADDS
Their sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more.
I've read the NT over fifty times, the OT not so much.
I didn't find Leviticus to be a book I was continually drawn to often reread, but I have read the bible through from cover to cover three times

From scripture the reason the people of god are hated is because they keep the commandments of God and have the Faith of Jesus;

Indeed in Rev 14:12 - the contrast is between receiving the mark of the beast vs "the saints that keep the Commandments of God AND have the faith of Jesus"

At least one SDA Pastor teaches Islam worships the same God as the SDA and other keep Sunday.

In a church of over 19 million there will have to be one or two goofy ones. But it tends to be in just a few places such as the U.S. and Austrailia that you see some of those odd characters once in a blue moon.

Just to add. Of course through reading scripture we get convicted of different things. I've heard it said you can read a verse 50 times but on the next occasion you read it something leaps out at you.
IE
I found it hard to forgive someone who had wronged me. Then I was convicted through a portion of scripture I must forgive them. I always knew in my heart we must forgive, but at times God strongly convicts through what we read.
However, I instinctively knew a christian should not lie, steal, commit adultery, take the Lords name in vain for example. I didn't have to firstly read That in the bible, I was convicted of it in my heart.
Hope I have covered all your post now

That's better. You admit you break the moral law/TC. Therefore you cannot attain heaven under a justification of obeying the moral law/TC

There you go again twisting what has been said. Is it even possible for you to speak truth?? I quoted what the bible said if you have a problem with what Paul said, take it up with him. I addressed nothing to you and have no wish to continue talking to someone who twists things around to make himself feel right. I will continue to oray that God shows you His truth and that you walk in it. But, I get headaches from banging my head against brick walls and won't do it.

I have already addressed two major ones in my previous (post #211) – 1. Levitical priesthood, and 2. Animal sacrifices. The regulations regarding these are out – Hebrews make it quite clear.

And what about the 1050 commands in the NT? Which of those are too many for God to have as well? :)

I love that sort of question.

You go first – Is Leviticus 19:18 in or out?

((Leviticus 19:18, ‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbour as yourself.’ I am the Lord.))

Indeed and what about "Do not take God's name in vain" Exodus 20:7. A commandment not found in Genesis, not found before the fall of man - and not quoted at all in the NT.

Shall we make up some rules to delete that one as well? Of course not.

Hopefully that makes it easy for everyone to see.

How about - "getting convicted of the need to obey the word of God" ??

I think there is something to that.

Do you fully or partly obey the moral law? Still waiting for an answer

Same answer already given - I choose to obey the Word of God and not rebel against the Word of God.

Now repeated question for you --- "how about you?"

I didn't twist anything you wrote. You admitted you broke the moral law, very commendable in my view. What did I twist?

You said only non christians don't obey it. You appear not to want to answer the question.
I wonder why

Pauls message is hard to understand, impossible without the holy spirits guidance.
If i said to you:

If you think of a pink rabbit God will condemn you to hell.

What is the first thought that would come into your head if you were silly enough to believe me?

How about "They studied the SCRIPTURES daily to SEE IF those things spoken to them by the Apostle Paul - were So" Acts 17:11.

We call that "Sola Scriptura testing" and in this case the term "Scriptures" refers to the you-know-what where we find things like "do not take God's name in vain"

How about when you keep quoting:
Obey the commandments

you admit you break them

It appears you don't want to answer my question... I wonder why. I think everyone "else" can freely admit they choose obedience over rebellion against the Word of God.

This should be very simple for you.

And why do you reject the answer that "I choose to obey the Word of God rather than rebel against the Word of God"??

In what way is this "unsatisfactory for you"???

So I guess for me, I know what law God wants me to keep for i will have heartfelt conviction I sin when I don't keep it. For the law has been placed on my heart and written on my mind God desires me to keep and through the law we become conscious of sin( rom3:20)
To me that's how I know

Jeremiah 31:31-33 says the NEW Covenant places the LAW of God on the heart and mind.

Let's have some Bible exegesis without all the ranting ... what "LAW" did Jeremiah and his readers understand to be written on the heart and mind? What is the "intended meaning of the author for his contemporary readers?" - you know... actual exegesis.

Oh the christian in their heart wants to obey God for they have been born again.
BTW

The only people who go to church That i have heard take the Lords name in vain go the sda church. As I told you, I was shocked by what I heard, and deeply disturbed by it.

Like you, they kept stressing the moral laws must be obeyed while at the same Tim they broke them

Be careful what you say Bob -- I'm from Australia. Do you count me among the 'one or two goofy ones?'
