I would say the geological record show evidence of a catastrophic world wide flood.

I agree, but the evidence has been badly degraded by other geological events. Worse yet the evidence, by the very nature of the flood, was never uniform.

Stop putting words in my mouth that I did not say or imply. Do it again and I will report you.

I didn't put words into your mouth....I simply pointed out a serious problem when you filter your bible through mans fallible science. You become a pick and choose miracle believer.

You basically said evolutionary/old earth science has refuted the Genesis account.
My reply back basically said....modern medical science refutes a resurrection on day 3.

As a Presbyterian, do you not believe in miracles? Did Elisha through a miracle make the ax head float or was that also just a story?

How is that? An example perhaps?

Subsequent flooding in many flood prone areas would remove or alter previous flood evidence, much like re-deposition would alter fossil remains. Flood evidence would be very recent in geologic terms, be on or near the surface, and be very vulnerable to change or degradation. Any 'uniformity' would certainly have been lost in the millennia following the event.

The flood destroyed pretty much all of the pre-flood world. We can pick through the record recorded in the geological column and see fossils...fossils of animals, plants that were captured in a quick burial during the flood of Noahs time.

First, what specifically do you perceive as flood evidence? Specifically type of strata.
Second, "re-deposition would alter fossil remains"? Could you expound on that a little more specifically?

Flood evidence would be very recent in geologic terms, be on or near the surface, and be very vulnerable to change or degradation.
Yes, but if it were a global flood there should be a layer of flood debris world-wide of the same age, would there not?

The flood of Noah would have began as smaller flood....lakes...growing into larger lakes....waves washing across the land depositing sediment. Creating strata, burying animals.... As you said the flood was not uniform. As the waters receded the opposite would have occurred. Land masses would move, crashing into each other...bending the still plastic layers and forming recumbent folds in the strata as well as other geological featres. Mountains rising and valleys sinking Psalms 104:8 style....large lakes becoming smaller lakes....water gaps formed as the water level lowered and cut through the mountains...debri damns breaking and forming great canyons....

You would be wrong. Tell you what. How about you answer these questions?
----------------------------------------
How does a Flood explain subaerial igneous intrusions?
How does a Flood address all the heat that would be produced by the formation of limestone?
How does the Flood explain trace fossils?
How does the Flood explain faunal succession?
How does the Flood explain 60,000 varve layers in Lake Suigetsu and hundreds of thousands of layers in ice cores?
How does the Flood explain glacial erosion and deposits?
How does Flood explain eolian deposits and paleosols?
How does the Flood explain meanders like Horseshoe bend?
How does the Flood explain the different states of erosion exhibited by different mountain ranges?
How does the Flood explain batholiths?
Why did RATE admit there was 500,000,000 years worth of radioactive decay in the geological record?

Why are those instances you presented a problem? All you have done is present a list of supposed problem void of an explanation.

I take it you know absolutely zero about geology then. Every one of those things is a problem for Flood geology. Let's start with the first one. All throughout the geological column that Creationists claim was laid during the Flood are subaerial igneous intrusions. Why would they be a problem? Because they form in the air, not under water. If the Flood is responsible for all the layers, how then could there be igneous layers that could not have formed during the Flood?

You'll need to provide an example.

Very few understand the 'facts' of evolution. Most of those who 'accept' the theory simply take it on 'faith' that science has it right.
No one takes evolution on faith, either the evidence points to something or it doesn't, most people are not bothered either way but they do know that what is not known will either be found out eventually or put in the 'we don't know' box until they do know, saying it was magic or a God did it gets us exactly no where.

Also, why do we have sedimentary strata thicker than the elevation of Mount Everest and why is there a layer of terrestrial sediment in the Grand Canyon, never mind explaining the formation of limestone.

Once again more from a list with no references.
