You can read about it if you want: We are a fallen race, thrown out of the kingdom of God into this prison we call the world, convicted by God, whom gave life to our first ancestor that betrayed Him. The history of the world is the story of that betrayal, unfolded from the one man into the billions who make up all of humanity. You, then, are part of the story...wherein you will either take your part among those who are regretful (repentant) or among those who are not.Found guilty how? Convicted by whom?
Any way you want it... you come down to the first scenario: both sides present their cases, present their evidence, try to convince the jury.
You don't get to jump this part because it doesn't suit you.
So it seems to me that you have it backwards... you already declared the defendent guilty without a trial, because you know you have no leg to stand on. I can appeal on the simple fact that I didn't get a fair trial.. hey, no trial at all!
The original judgement was given by God who made the man who betrayed Him, the sentence of which was death: everyone dies. The final judgement - the one you now face - is by you: You are who you are, and will either accept the terms of God's plan of reconciliation, or not. If you do decide that you will accept His terms, He has arranged to raise you from the dead. Cool huh?
