  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The fight scene at the end made it worth it. The way it was filmed, the camera angles- it was so good. And the most comic book ever. Like it was a moving comic book. I just wish there'd more of that and less everything else - but still- there were enough great Batman moments to save the film. And the extended helps flesh out the story a lot.

Points are points

Crazy world, I see more evil come from people who claim to have authority than I do from the average citizen. Everybody is filled with hate now days. We live in a time where the people morals are at an all time low and it is not just the average citizen but it is the cops, the judges, the attorneys, the average public servant, even our politicians are at an all time low. Our cops want to murder, our judges want to do as they want and not want the law requires, our attorney's drink too much and do not work hard on clients cases and they make bad deals, our choices for president are so low that I don't see why anybody would want to vote. I cant wait until the return of Jesus so we can start over.
As a person whose been on the side of the fence where these things effect you... this post is very true. Jesus will judge the earth. I've been blessed enough to see His holy hand in redeeming me from the wolves, authority and non-authority alike, and await the day where His justice will bring them all to an end.

I'll see my enemies fall. I have before, and I will again - my Shepherd is a God of power. My tears were not in vain.

In general I do not believe that places of authority is evil as God has said in His word that He has set up our governments and authorities so we must respect them and not be rebellious but what I am seeing is that in these end time is that all people have a lower moral level than any generation before. God has told us that we would have hate and murder in our hearts and the people in places of authority are human too and they also are at an all time low and they hate those who do not worship them and they have murder in their hearts. They want to kill people like its a badge of honor. Not every single one of them as we still have some great people in law enforcement but we have a bigger number of hate filled murder seeking servants than ever before and some are even trained to be so.

It says that in the end time we will be a rebellious generation and that goes for people in places of authority, they are rebellious against the rights of people who want to exercise their God given rights because it makes their job hard and they want to exercise authority over you and you must obey their commands and if not they want to kill you so their safety will be in order.

I might suggest that you should want rather to see your enemies redeemed, just as you were by Christ, Mr. Cody. Although you may be speaking this from anger drawn by personal hurts you have experienced at the hands of others in the past that I know nothing about or could not understand, so I will leave it at that. Just thought it might be a worthy gentle reminder to you as you are still fairly new as a believer.:)

We think the same way. I'm not a criminal, far from it, God has cleansed me.

I would agree that many of the authorities are quick to shed blood. Proverbs 1:16 So that is why I don't trust many of them, dislike many of them, and often pray for protection from many of them.

When you have to pray from protection from the ones your supposed to be protected by, even though you're currently doing no wrong, that's when there is a problem. That's why my stance is as it is.

If they become saved, that's great - but I still desire to see them humbled and still desire to see justice done. I suffered a lot by the hands of my enemies, and trust God will bring them to justice - whether it's gentle, or not gentle, whether they are his lost sheep, or not.

God loves justice, and it's a righteous thing to desire to see justice done. I'm really not angry, but just as a son who is beat up waits for his father to do something about it to make it right, whether it's talking to the other kids parents making the kids apologize, or a teacher getting the kids suspended, or something of that nature - I wait for my Father to avenge me. Like I said, my many tears weren't in vain.

One of the many reasons we as Christians should not kill is because we do not want to deny the other person his chance to get redeemed. We can not cheat them out of the same chance that we received. We must remain humble and watch ourselves and do not be seen by the world but we must never commit violence as it will harden the heart of others.

I'm going to be honest, my thoughts are filled with vengeance and violence as a result of everything I was put through. From something benign as internet trolling to something as extreme as committing genocide against the entire human race.

However, what separates me from the others is that I believe in eternal consequences. If I were to get my hands on a gun, go on a shooting spree and then shoot myself, I would have to face God holding a belt in his hands afterwards. Not worth it.
Instead, I'm going to box away my evil thoughts and keep working on preserving life like I always do.

While people like Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold have fandoms making fan art and writing fan fictions of them, in Heaven I'll (hopefully) be honored as the guy who did much good in the world in spite of my disability and hatred for others. If someone like Paul can turn over a new leaf and be a hero in Christianity, maybe I would have a chance.

Time for another tattoo I think - it's been seven years TOO long.

I've gathered a load of designs together, and pretty much know where I'm going with it. I may make it a full sleeve on my left forearm, or I may just stick with a well detailed piece and leave a bit of space. I'm not sure yet. I'll have a chat with my designer - (if he's still alive, it's been the best part of a decade since I last saw him.)
