It is common to hear people like pastors complaining about theological and biblical illiteracy nowadays. Perhaps it hasn't occurred to them that it is part of their job to deliver a minimal theological education, but you would want to go your own way even if that education was on offer.

IF any of that were true...Christ would have chosen Levites and Pharisees instead of the twelve.

My theology is orthodox. Yours is near Palagian or actually Palagian, and that is the least that is wrong with it.

In the parable of the Publican and the Pharisee, it was the Publican who knew that he was a sinner, and asked for God's mercy whom Jesus commended - not the Pharisee who spent his time telling God how righteous and morally virtuous he was. If you see the parable, why then do you not see that you have argued your position with the support of orthodoxy as did the Pharisee, while accusing me of being wrong simply for being the voice of one crying in the wilderness?

The meaning of the parable is obvious to anybody who is able to read English (or German, or Greek, or French). Every cult there has ever been has thought that they were the voice crying in the wilderness.

She, or anyone, can at anytime, speak of what they do not know. In her case, as you quoted, she spoke as if she knew what was in my mind. But I will tell you - if she actually knew what was in my mind, she would know God...and she obviously does not.
