Lol, there have been times where I showed up to work when I wasn't even scheduled. Happy/sad moment. Sad you wasted time driving there, and happy you get to just go home. Lol.

Naw. The day after. Apparently all the cool kids took an extra day off, and I was uninvited. oh well.

Actually it was the boss who took the day off this time, where I'm at. Everyone at the Dr. Pepper corp says that oftentimes on the day after a national holiday at least one fourth of the people who work there will call in sick.

It was about 3/4 of my department over here. Lol. It was a peaceful day, nonetheless. ^,^

Now that I'm somewhat more familiar with the job, I spend most of my shift in prayer, just kind of a running monolog in my head.

Bored at work. I know what I should be doing and I manage to do it 5 min at the time, until I become excessively attracted to something I shouldn't be doing, like f.e. cup of coffee or reading stuff in the internet and spend 20 min at it and then I repeat the cycle.

Just buy a bale of hay. That way, you won't have to go sifting through endless needles just to find a single strand of hay.

Nah, I have tried your bale of hay theory and it never works out well. Isn't quite as satisfying, and sometimes all that hay can give you weird rashes.

I always wear gloves when handling bales. They can be a bit abrasive and often harbor all sorts of little mites and bacteria.

Some bales can be dusty too...

Aye, gloves are handy when it comes to hay. Important to keep your hands clean.
Bales of Hay can come in all sorts of different sizes, and some can be much dirtier than others. Tending to lots of hay isn't worth it, in my experience. I would much rather have one neat and snug bale, and just focus on daily care of a single bale of hay.

Of couse, you work on a farm, right? So I am sure you know plenty about bales and hay.

I once had that issue, but after telling IT I haven't had an issue since... usually.
