Decker is a former Mormon. My understanding is that he is speaking out against the Mormon church that he feels lied to him his entire life. That has nothing to do with Christianity, Mormon Stories podcast is full of people that are speaking out against the church because they have been dishonest with their teachings and covering over the truth of history.

He is asking what lies you are experiencing and this is your response?This is putting words in people's mouths that they did not say, which is bearing false witness against someone. Maybe you should tell of the experiences you keep referring to so we all know.

Decker came out with the GodMakers I and II in the 80's. The time is well past to shut him up. I think the damage has already been done.

Don't you have anything in the last 25 years? Maybe 5 years?

Uh, no. This is not at all true. If this is your "understanding", then you need to go back and re-assess the facts.

1. Decker converted to the church as an adult so that he could marry someone. He was never a "lifelong" member as you have asserted.

2. Decker was never faithful to this person, and was constantly having affairs.

3. Decker's first wife got tired of these affairs and so finally filed for divorce. The local church leadership found out about the divorce, and upon learning why she was filing for divorce began excommunication proceedings.

Decker's first wife came forward with her copy of the divorce paperwork in the early 1990s, making it very clear what really happened.

That has nothing to do with Christianity,

The collective failure of mainline Christianity to ask pertinent questions and get pertinent facts is mainline Christianity's problem.

Their falsehoods and filth are still in circulation and still poisoning minds, so I'd say it's still relevant to talk about them.

It doesn't matter. It was still the Mormon church that is why he did what he did. Because they lied to him.

Yes, they're lies told about the LDS faith and other groups or activities seen as "cult-like" or "Satanic".
