  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Then you are not reading the posts that I am writing to you sense I have given you lots of scientific evidence. It looks like I should just put you on ignore sense your not reading my posts to you anyways.
Maybe you should consider putting the rest of us on your ignore list because we all agree with her.

I have seen your posts. You have only demonstrated that you do not understand what is and what is not scientific evidence. Instead of pointless threats which amount to you admitting that you can't beat others in debate you should try to learn. I could help you to understand the nature of scientific evidence. For some reason the very concept of scientific evidence seems to scare creationists.

The point was that I am not going to waste my time to answer absurd questions from people with a reprobate mind. If people want to perish in their sin then that is there choice to make. There is nothing we can do to help them. We are here for the redeemed and to do what we can to help those who know how to make a right correct choice. We are not here for the people that want to suppress the truth and make that their primary objective in life. So I agree with you that it is a waste of time to try to help people with a reprobate mind that are not interested in knowing the truth.

Whoa! Watch those false accusations. What makes you think that you don't have a "reprobate mind". What you just did was probably a serious breaking of the rules here. I am pretty sure that it would not be possible for me to "perish in their sin". You need to define the terms that you use. So far we can all see that if anyone is not interested in knowing the truth that would be you.

Not quite.

It is reading of your posts, that leads one to conclude you have provided zero evidence.

I am not saying that about anyone, that would be against the rules. I can not judge who is and who is not a christian. I am just saying what the Bible says in general about people that are not saved. What we judge here is not people, we judge thoughts. Most of the thoughts here originated somewhere else and we have to weigh those thoughts to see if they are worthy of our attention of if those thoughts come from a reprobate mind. This is why I began a tread dealing with Steve Wells because he wrote the Skeptics Bible that is quoted here so often. Rather then to deal on a individual basis with his many many attacks on the Bible it is better to deal with his mistaken understanding of the Bible. His approach and his method are in error. In the same way there is no reason to argue against reprobate thinking. We just identify what it is and dismiss the argument accordingly because it is not based on sound logic and sound reasoning.

People that call themselves Christians and are in error are usually into some sort of revisionism. This is covered by the Statement of Faith just who is and who is not a Christian. It is up to them to judge themselves.

I never said that. The problem is you have no idea what I am talking about do you? Bryan Sykes wrote a book: "The seven daughters of eve" One of those seven daughters is the Eve we read about in our Bible. Jasmine or Haplogroup J (mtDNA) that just happened to live 6,000 years ago in the Middle East.

Now don't give me any absurd nonsense about my lack of scientific evidence to verify what I am saying. This is the Haplogroup that is associated with the spread of farming and herding. Clearly this is the Haplogroup we are talking about in the Bible.

"mtDNA Haplogroup J: Around 45,000 years before present, a mutation took place in the DNA of a woman who lived in the Near East or the Caucasus. Further mutations took place in the J line which can be identified as J1a1 (27,000 yrs ago), J2a (19,000 yrs ago), J2b2 (16,000 years ago), J2b3 (5,800 yrs ago), etc. Haplogroup J (along with ‘T’) is associated with the spread of farming and herding in Europe during the Neolithic Era (8,000-10,000 yrs ago)."

This isn't evidence for the Eve described in the Bible.

Finding a common ancestor for mitochondrial DNA in no way indicates that a single woman was the founder of an entire population. It isn't evidence for your claims.

Perhaps you do not know what true science is. People with reprobate minds attempt to hijack science and that is what we need to identify so we can keep science unblemished. So they do not sneak in unaware to corrupt what is pure and undefiled.

I very much do know what true science is. You are the one who is misrepresenting the truth. If you can't tell the truth about science, then why should we ever trust you when you talk about God?

People with reprobate minds attempt to hijack science and that is what we need to identify so we can keep science unblemished. So they do not sneak in unaware to corrupt what is pure and undefiled.

The only one who has hijacked science is you.

Here is a simple question for you, let's see if you can answer it. How many great-grandmothers do you have?

Based on what you post, i see zero reason to acknowledge you have any credibility on science matters.
