Where is a "6000 year old earth" found in scripture?

This discussion is always ongoing, as all of them are, and much Scripture is posted to show that the earth is finishing it's sixth millennial "Day" of creation and soon, the Millennial Sabbath of earth will be upon the world.

That's nonsense plus we are already in the so called "7th day" anyways.

So we are not about to enter the 7th day but the 7th day is about to end. This 7000 year plan with the last 1000 years being the Millennium is simply wrong mathematically. A thousand years with a short season then judgment day will mark the end of this age but there is no "one week plan". The 7th day is about to end and the thousand years of Rev 20 hasn't even begun yet.

Now one can do the study on the Torah and come to the exact timeline from the beginning, but you have to work hard, without Jasher, but Jasher correlates with the Torah on the times and dates and ages, so it's easier, there.
One modern book that takes up history in relation to the Gentile nations is done by a man who researched the historical records for thirty years, and his record -without him knowing it, even, for he did not have the Book of Jasher, confirms the history timeline in "Angola" from the times Israel was in Egypt, for he names an early king from the records who is named in the Book of Jasher, so from Jasher to the modern book one continues histories of peoples descended from Noah, outside Israel. The book is "After the Flood", by Bill Cooper.
It is a good book and is available form Amazon.

Someone put it on kindle recently to make it available through that format.

Male, female...Buddy is a word for friend. So, still miss read info twisted into a 'story' that makes out the earth is only 6,000 years old. Lots of scientific data prove otherwise.

God created in 6-7 days. This is a blink of an eye to God! How long is a day to God? Could God make billions of years into a day? Of course he can. God can do 'anything'.

We read it as a week. That is for our benefit. God is all powerful. He set the spark that made the earth. He created everything in a blink of an eye.

I am 69 years old. I am in my 70th year. I am not in my 71st year. I will not be in my 71st year until my 70th year ends. Then people will say I am 70 years old, but I will be in my 71st year for one year.
This creation is in its 6th one thousand year day.. When this millennial day is ended then we will be in the seventh millennial day..
We are not in the seventh millennial day yet. Not until the sixth millennial day ends.
The sixth millennial day ends when the 6,999 days have passed, then the seventh millennial day begins.

I have looked up the 6,000 years and seen a few videos on it and i really see no logic or truth in the matter. To me it is just people interpreting Genesis wrongly! I couldn't find any evidence to suggest the earth is 6,000 years old. Not 'real' evidence anyway!

That's not how numbers work. Anything over 6000 years is the start of the 7th day.

The 6th day is not ended. There are 24 hours in a day [God counts it as 18 parts, but that is another story], you must not call the 6th day the 7th day until the 24th hour passes. Friday is not Sabbath for the Jews, and Sabbath is the 7th day. The 6th day is not the 7th day.

In the dream vision, Enoch writes the oracle of the 10 weeks of 700 years each, making again, 7,000 years, but in those weeks, when the "STOP" happens, Israel loses any mention, and is not mentioned again until after that "STOP" is ended, and then the signs begin again, in Israel, for Israel.
