And it is a wonderful hike.Science can take a hike.
That hike ends here ...And it is a wonderful hike.Exploring the earth and universe where discoveries lead to more and more discoveries.
That has nothing to do with science. Take your apologetics to an appropriate thread outside of the science forums of the CF.That hike ends here ...
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
thanks for that absoultely pointless post
Nope, they fooled you.I, one individual among many who accept the science of evolution have a belief that is only tangentially related to the science of evolution.
That belief is this: that at some point in the past, by natural means, living matter emerged by some process from non-living matter.
This belief could be characterized as "spontaneous generation" has probably occurred at least once in the past.
If I am wrong in this belief (which, not having strong empirical evidence to base it upon, I may well be), that has no impact on the theory of evolution which does have strong credibility from empirical evidence.
Far fetched...If I may.
The point is that God is in control, not some mysterious process that turns dead matter into life and then forms it into complex critters over time.
Read yer bible. God set the boundaries for reproduction in Adam's day. Kind would only reproduce kind. Prior to that all sorts of goofy creatures might have been produced by indiscriminate interbreeding (evolution?).
Far fetched...
All sorts of goofy creatures? How about dogs? We humans actually evolved them from wolves. Also, there is more than o ne interpretation as to what the term "kind" is referring to in Scripture. If I may.
