The elements comprising our atmosphere are abundant throughout the universe. Animal life on Earth has evolved to utilise the atmosphere available to it. If there is life on other planets, that life may have evolved differently, and therefore may not be suited to the atmosphere we have on Earth.

I'm guessing you're going to ignore everything else I wrote and focus on that to make an argument from ignorance?

We don't know if we are unique. We don't know how common the conditions necessary for life are within our own solar system, yet alone at the universe at large.

I, and you, for that matter, do not know for sure how long a time the process from then to now took. We can speculate, and I personally believe it's been billions of years. So did Lemaitre.
For the record, it does seem like you try to pit those who believe in young earth creationism against those who believe in the Big Bang. As if there is a dichotomy between the Genesis account of creation and the scientific account of how it all began. I don't see any dichotomy at all. They, even, the YECreationists might believe there's a dichotomy. But there isn't.

Can you describe how you understand the Genesis account and evolution as going together? I view it as an abuse of Scripture to pit it against science , since Scripture was never intended to be a scientific witness.

So then you know that everything is designed, you just won't admit it. Gotcha.

You have now trivialized "design" into being meaningless.

Why does water flow downhill? Design. Why do trees fall down when you cut their trunk? Design. Why do satellites stay in orbit? Design. It doesn't tell us anything about why these things happen other than making another unfalsifiable claim. (RoJ, that does not mean "true")
