If you present yourself to be what you are not, you are imitating. Also, the Bible says,
"But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." (2 Timothy 3:13)
So, the Bible word for someone who presents oneself to be what he or she isn't is not only "imitator", but "impostor", meaning one is putting oneself in a place where one has no right to be > including in the wrong bathroom.
So, we are in a Christian forum where we are expected to give what we find to be in the Bible. So, I do not mean an insult. But people who do not accept the gospel can find it insulting to be told they are wrong. This is how they take it, not how I mean it
I highlighted the last of your wise observations for emphasis.

I would hope no one takes anything said by a Christian here as insult. If my words have been received as such I ask forgiveness for it was not intended.
Rather, what is to be upheld is the word of God in a community dedicated to Christ. And common sense and truth in matters of reality.
The movement now afoot in America , of foremost concern because it is my homeland, is to harass, intimidate, and be intolerant of what is truth.
Males have a particular anatomy that makes them male. Females have a particular anatomy that makes them female.
A woman undergoing a sonogram does not look from the screen to the expectant mother and say, choose! Male or female ?
They see that the baby is a male or a female in that scan. And that male or female baby is identified as such by the anatomy that the sonogram reveals.
It is only later when that child matures to a point of self awareness that they may show signs of disassociation from that God given anatomy and say that they feel as if they're the opposite sex. And before the movement arose that intended to obfuscate the fact that that claim is a symptom and not a true state of physicality, they were then identified as sufferers of, not people entitled to exploit their symptoms as having a right to overcome common sense and anatomical reality observed by others.
The movement afoot now is intending to force compliance to the insistence that male is not male, female is not female. It is whatever someone says it is according to their personal preference. And rather than being treated, they're insisting they're entitled to be intolerant of opinions that do not agree that a male below the waist is entitled to be recognized by everyone as the female he says he is inside. And while that male demands tolerance, that movement he is member of shows none for those opposed. Because truth is not to be tolerated. Delusion is.
A female does not have a penis and scrotum. That's not an opinion requiring tolerance. That's a biological fact of nature.
A male does not have a uterus, ovaries and breasts. That is not an opinion requiring tolerance. That is a biological fact of nature.
This thread discussion is about a company that is intolerant of the truth, and unconcerned about bolstering the economy in North Carolina. Because as a company policy they support the obfuscation of reality and the promotion of falsehood.
They support the furtherance of a chronic mental and biological, a chemical, imbalance rather than in the recognition of the symptoms and the treatment of the condition.
I believe a movement should be initiated that protests PayPal on those grounds. After all, a company needs patrons more than patrons need that company. Especially when debit cards work far easier and at less expense than does the PayPal system of commerce.
There needs to be a tolerance for the truth. And a tolerance for Christians faith especially in a community dedicated to the teachings of Christ even in the name it boasts on its banner.
The Book of Genesis does not report , in the beginning God made them so that they may choose their gender as they feel like it in future. Why are Christians particularly in their own community here expected to concede those true scriptures in Genesis regarding male and female as well as marriage, because those opposed to God's word are not tolerant of reading them? Or reading people who uphold them in a Christian place?
