• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's on your mind?

I can't help you. I really only post in here and the men's forum.

I post here and in OBOB

I used to post in GT.... but GT was a pit back then and has gotten worse with age

there is also the Traditional Theology subforum of GT
some good people post there but I can never really tell what is "traditional" so I do not post there as much as I should

I must have burned a hole through my sinus years ago or something. Ever sense I sprayed salt water up my nose when I had a sinus infection to the point where blood started pouring out my nose days instead of snot......... even a sneeze can give me a bloody nose now.

I used to get punched in the nose and not bleed.... Now... ACHOO!!

latest

Stupid sinus cant take a few gallons of salt water to flush it out. :|

What can I say? Yeah it burned a bit.... but it felt better after the burn stopped. :p

I have to second this reaction. But to add, my spirit would be laughing historically. :p

People always laugh at things they don't understand.

You see Swanny.... water is what snow and ice are when its NOT so cold that everything is frozen like it is in Canadia. :p

Lol! I'll have you know that it's not so cold out. Cold enough for ice, but warm enough for the ice and snow to be melting and make snowmen. But, beware of the sun and melting ice... it's VERY slippery >.<

Nah, I think I will just stay further south where ice and snow rarely ever happens in nature. :p

Well thats cause the buffalo roamed the wild plans of America. You didn't have any Canadian Indians going around hunting the buffalo. The natives there were snowmen...... and moose...es.... :sput:

Hmmm, okay well lets see.

I covered the snowmen and moose being the natives of your land.... hmmm.

I have covered the Mountie discovering a maple leaf.....

ummm... I guess the only thing left to talk about is how hockey was discovered in Canadia.

Well you see, a Mountie was riding his horse moose.... when he looked back and noticed his horse moose pooped.

Well, it being the land of Canadia... of course the poop was frozen the instant it splatted on the ice. So, the Canadian Mountie being bored as he was. He poked the poo with a stick, which.... being on ice, naturally sent the frozen poo sliding across the ice at fast speeds. Which, went under the legs of a moose.

The Mountie then spent his time running around in circles with the stick in the air...

Once people found out that poo is flammable.... that is when the Canadians starting hanging nets on the side of their moose...es.... so they could play their poo games and then.... when it was over.... they could light the poo to stay warm.

Now, of course with nets and metal goals being common place as well as pucks they no longer use the poo.... but there you go....

Canadias full history. :p

Hah! Exactly! That, and when I went for a walk, whenever a car drove by, my eyes were super sensitive to the headlights :ahah:

Well first, the doc puts these drops in that sting, and you're like AHHHH my EYES :argh:
Then he/she shines a light in them and you're like... AHHH I can't SEE anymore!!
Then when it's all over, your eyes are sensitive to the light and you're like AHHH it's so bright in here!! :tantrum:

Then they give you these really dark plastic sunglasses for the drive home. :sunglasses:

Really it wasn't that bad though. :ahah: The doc just wanted to check for any abnormalities, damage to retina, etc.
