The vicousness in the animal kingdom and among man is due to sin, the fall of man that occurred in the Garden of Eden.

Many have explained away the Bible's authenticity and inerrancy. They are in need to being woke up from their slumber and awake to the deception round about them in this day we live in.

Much of the deception has to do with the accumulation of knowledge that that has come from the Tree of Knowledge. It's fruit is hanging out of most peoples mouth, and they don't even know it, knowledge from below, an Earthly, Natural knowledge devoid of knowledge from above. (James 3:15)

The theory of evolution simply describes nature it does not promote or incite anything. Fifty years ago I was very much like you in your faith. I no longer read the Bible as being either literal or inerrant. In fact I no longer accept the Doctrine of Original Sin.

I do not read the Genesis myth as a fall from an original state of perfection into sin and death. The first couple were completely innocent and naïve creatures. They were certainly capable of making a mistake but without knowing good from evil they lacked even the ability to sin. That ability came only with them eating of the "Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil". To me the story is a "coming of age story". Our mythical first couple graduated from animal status into to fully self aware human beings capable of making moral judgments. This is not an Original Sin story but rather an Original Blessing story that should be celebrated. We are not a people fallen from an original state of perfection into sin and death. What we are is a people that is still evolving. We are no longer "just animals" but something more.

It beggars credulity to imagine that thousands of highly educated experts are either intentionally misleading us about evolution or are otherwise all terribly mistaken. Therefore, it seems that whether we like it or not - including whether evolution "fits" with our reading of the Bible or not - we must accept evolution as a theory with tremendous evidential support. And I think when we deny evolution, we are only embarrassing ourselves (the church). We can still see read the Genesis account as communicating an essential truth about human beings: that we are indeed broken and fallen.

Evolution never happened. What people promote as Evolution is viciousness and brutality. When in actuality it is due to the Fall, due to sin.

God has His ways. We are the ones needing to learn from Him.

What you are complaining about exists regardless of evolution. You say evolution never happened, yet we have all this "brutality" in the world. So where does that leave us? Because of the fall? Then what is your problem with evolution?

Assuming that this is a cryptic way of asserting that evolution is not a well-supported theory, how do you explain that the overwhelming majority of experts in the relevant disciplines all agree that the broad theory of evolution is indeed very well supported by the evidence? Do you think they are engaged in a huge conspiracy to deceive? Or that they are all mistaken?
