• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Then link them and explain my supposed error. I already explained your error to you.
The truth is so far from your libel attempt on God it is not worth the time to wade in your mud. Lurkers, he is wasting time here and has less than nothing.

It's not an environment God. It's the reality around you. You know the water that pipes into your house? When its contaminated it's man doing it, not a magic environment fairy. You know the people in Flint, Michigan? Prayer isn't helping them right now.
Sinful fallen man using pipes science made!
There's no God involved, just like there isn't a science God.
False, whatever people hold up before God is a god. Rather than respect creation and God, you seek to hold up some man can save himself routine. Then you slander believers trying to pin the rap on them.

I never tried to do such a thing. And no, I still have my verse ready. As soon as you can debate properly I will bring it out. Sadly you lost the ability to demand such evidence when you ran away from your error.

Where did I ever attempt to "Libel God"? That sort of accusation may be a breaking of the rules if you cannot back it up.

Sure. But what about those on your list? Was there one there that believed in your same-not-same-state theology thing?

That was not mentioned. The site posted them because they were scientists and believers in creation. The different state past thing is very recent.

Too late. It is garbage slander and I am not interested.

In painting God's word as a book that promotes killing babies, you slander and blaspheme God. Jesus forms us in the womb, and commanded man to have babies, and we saw God when He lived here on earth. Jesus loved the little children.

At least you admitted that you made up some garbage slander. Baby steps.

In painting God's word as a book that promotes killing babies, you slander and blaspheme God. Jesus forms us in the womb, and commanded man to have babies, and we saw God when He lived here on earth. Jesus loved the little children.

But I did not make that claim You are the one that made that false claim. And no, Jesus does not form us in the womb. But he did love the little children. But they are not what we were talking about. Please try to keep on topic.

Sorry this is a quote out of context that applies at best to only one person. Quotes out of context are not evidence.
That is bang on in context. God formed us and God new us in the belly. God told us of many folks before they were born.

Psalms 139:15

My substance was not hid from thee when I was made in secret,
&c.] Or "my bone" ; everyone of his bones, which are the substantial parts of the body, the strength of it; and so some render it "my strength"; those, though covered with skin and flesh yet, being done by the Lord himself, were not hid from him; nor the manner of their production and growth, which being done in secret is a secret to men; for they know not how the bones grow in the womb of her that is with child, (Ecclesiastes 11:5) ; but God does;

[and] curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth;
or formed in my mother's womb, as the Targum, and so Jarchi, like a curious piece of needlework or embroidery, as the word F16 signifies; and such is the contexture of the human body, and so nicely and curiously are all its parts put together, bones, muscles, arteries, veins, nerves, and fibres, as exceed the most curious piece of needlework, or the finest embroidery that ever was made by the hands of men; and all this done in the dark shop of nature, in the "ovarium", where there is no more light to work by than in the lowest parts of the earth. The same phrase is used of Christ's descent into this world, into the womb of the virgin, where his human nature was curiously wrought by the finger of the blessed Spirit, (Ephesians 4:9) .

Still quoting out of context. I can quote the Bible and show that it says twelve times "There is no God". Would that support an argument against God? I hope you said no. In the same way your quotes out of context do not support your claim.

Also there was nothing there about a soul being in the fetus.

Try again.

ETA: And this was a Psalm, meaning that it is a poetic song. It is not describing reality. It is only David's praise for God, when read in context it again does not support your claim:

Still quoting out of context.
Take this out of context:

Luke 1:44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
