Why don't protestants bless Mary?

Point it out to me where I can find it. I'm not just going to take your word for it.

God passed on His words through humans: John 14:26, 2 Timothy 2:2, 1 Thessalonians 2:13

Well, I'm human and I'm telling you that you need to stop listening to everything you've been told by your traditions and get back to what has been written in scripture. Something tells me that you won't listen to this human.

This is something I've never been told.
I guess my first question would be how did Jesus protect her from sin before He was born, or, more importantly, before she concieved Him.

Because God transcends time, and Jesus is God, He can apply graces according to his pleasure. All the graces given in the Old Covenant were also from the Incarnation, life, passion, death, and Resurrection of Christ, though these events had not happened yet from man's time-bound perspective. For example, when David was annointed as King of Israel, the Spirit immediately rushed upon him. And long before the Passion, Resurrection, Pentecost, Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit when she heard Mary's voice, and St. John the Baptist was filled with the Spirit even in Elizabeth's womb.

Mary, who is Daughter Zion, the New eve, the Mother of God, the fulfillment of everything Israel and the Church is mean to be, was saved by prevention, in view of the merits of her Divine Son.

1 "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies

Why do you think this applies to the Church's teachings about the Mother of God?

GOD blessed Mary, that is why she is blessed.

In the Church that was founded by Jesus Christ, of which Jesus said: "whoever listens to you, listens to me". If one means that they want documentation, then one can study the writings of the Church throughout the centuries.

And Scripture tells me to hold fast to the oral Word of God. I think this clearly means accepting the teachings of the historic Church founded by Jesus Christ, the Son of Mary.

Allright, this is a possible exegesis, but those in the lap of Abraham, on the 'good side' of 'Hades' are not exactly alive i.m.o.
But i agree views vary.

The thing is, no longer being part of this fallen creation, time seems to be irrelevant or void.
Unimaginable for us dwelling earth in the flesh.
Non the less, God forbade to contact the ones that passed away from this realm.
Hence my comment.

I don't think that God forbade from contacting those who are in Heaven. In fact the Bible says that we have come to t Mount Zion and the spirits of just men made perfect. But yes, Mary is blessed because God blessed her. Everything Mary is is the grace of God. Hence her remarkable new name: "Hail, Having Been Endowed With Grace. The Lord is with thee."

I don't think so. The Bible says that we have come to the City of the Living God. Those that are in Heaven could never do us harm, since they are perfect.

I don't see the Catholic Church as a denomination. It is the Church founded by Jesus Christ, who told us to listen to her. Christ said "whoever listens to you listens to me". To whom does that living-and-active Word of God apply if not to the Catholic Church? The doctrine of the Assumption of the Queen of Heaven, our Mother, is part of the Word of God (Tradition), which includes Scripture.

I guess the issue for me is asking how we can honor God if we don't honor His Mother. As St. Augustine said, we should never doubt that Mary is sinless, on account of the honor of the Lord.

You are disparaging Christ's Church, the very Church he established and promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against, to whom he said , He who listens to you listens to me, this Church which is guided by the Holy Spirit which shall lead to all truth... you want to put THAT on par with the teachings of ordinary men? The insult is to Christ himself to whom the Church belongs.

What Paul says can be backed by scripture,what the cc says is traditions of men,which make void the Word of God...Bottom line I don't need or will ever need your traditions to be saved....

There have been many many evil Popes,did you all listen to them.....You say a Priest can forgive sins,scripture says only Christ can....

So who do I go with? cc says Mary was sinless,scripture says all have sinned,again who do I roll with?

What you fail to realize is the Oral traditions were the Word spoken,not what the cc has added!!!

Again cc traditions say that scripture says nothing of the sort....What she teaches is contrary to scripture,therefore,it can't be of Christ!!!!!!
