There is a message there about the Eunuch in which we are being told not to rely on our own interpretations of scripture! You have to seek the advice of a person who is guided by the Holy Spirit. This, for me, leads to the Catholic Church!

Yes Phillip used the writing of Isaiah to teach the eunuch the Gospel of Christ, no doubt. The problem it seems that you think that the eunuch would have figured the Gospel out on his own, if Phillip didn't show up, he just wouldn't have had a name to attach to the Lord.

Honestly I'm trying to show the the beauty of that passage, which is God uses us to help each other learn more about Him and His Gospel. The fact is Fireinfolding, you wouldn't know the Gospel if someone didn't show it to you; that is the beauty of the Gospel, is the ability to share our God and what He does for us to other people, and that is the beauty of that passage.

There is a reason, why we cannot baptize ourselves.
