Fear of the Lord Jesus? I've heard people talk about the Fear of God, but not Jesus.
Jesus is the only true and living God.

I actually used some common sense and changed a few words around and did not believe what some others had stated or written, nor did I look for creation for the answer. And low an behold the Heavens opened up and I could go in.........I was also able to get a in person visit from the dark side..........They are pretty smart. But they aint that smart...... They are limited in scope, as there are portals and places they can not go. The key is the Old Passover and the Second one have to match and if they don't, you will be guided unto the direction of the Tomb. Then beyond said Tomb, you will meet a man with 2 names, with all the automatic answers then beyond him you will meet a un-named Angel. At the end and you will finish on Earth, where you started.
Those of you who converted from another religion, were any of you converted because a Christian 'exposed' the errors of your previous religion?
Is this discussion solely for formerChristians then?
I'm not sure I understand the question ... is it for those converted to Christianity, or for former Christians converted to another religion?Primarily. We can discuss conversion in general, but I have a specific purpose here.

I was converted from Freemasonry to Christianity by conviction of the Holy Spirit. He showed me that the "god" of Freemasonry is not the One True and Living God who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Curious, if you were a Satanist. Who is the red being with the inverted triangular head and who are the green cloud like mist spirits. I would also like to take you to Mark 15:38 and ask if you can either enter or peer into the Temple? If you have ever seen the passion movie, who is the ugly boy the Satan Figure is holding and do you know his name and what solstice he was boon under? Thanks. Don't get a chance to ask questions to former Satanist's very often.
I converted to Lutheranism because my parents invited me to go to Church with them. I was a Satanist at the time. The Pastor was preaching on 1 John and he convinced me of Christ's love for me and the necessity to love others. He did not know I was a Satanist nor did my parents as I did not share that fact with others. If they would have known I'm sure they would have tried to expose the errors though.
My mother says she was brought to Christ by reading John, I just always knew. I remember singing 'Jesus loves me this I know cause the Bible tells me so' while I was swinging and that as just stuck with me.
What in John did it? I've always been surprised by people who read the New Testament and are convinced because it pretty much cemented the other way for me.
I'm not sure I'll have to ask her. You perhaps being Jewish maybe would not understand that ah-ha spiritual moment, do Jews have Spirit led moments? I love the 1st and 17th chapters of John, the more I read them the more I see in there.
The first couple of chapters of the left behind series gave me a good general overview of revelation,
We don't have a trinity in Judaism, so when you say Spirit led I assume you mean part of the trinity so the answer is no. But remember that for me the New Testament has to prove Jesus is the Messiah and, from my point of view, it couldn't fail harder at doing that.
Well I don’t accept the Trinity as some of my fellow Christians do either.
Please don't post the 300 or 400 or 1000 prophecies fulfilled as I can promise you most of them won't be things I recognize as prophecies.
Stop right there. this, right here, is being pulled so far out of context it's staggering. That's discussing a court case. A criminal proceeding. It is not some kind of blanket statement that if two people come forward and say something I MUST believe them. It's saying that if we're going to convict someone based upon eye witness testimony, it has to be more than one witness. That's it. You can't turn it into something else.I won't but I'll give you this;
In Deut 19:15 it says ‘according to two witnesses or according to three witnesses a matter shall stand’ in the New Testament the Lord take it a little further
“ that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.”
As I understand the principle no one can claim authority or some special knowledge without a witness to his authority.
